Love the Mule fishing burro bug! And it’s been hot over here in my area creek session turn into swimming sessions lol
@ronaldshank75895 ай бұрын
Can't blame ya for that! There ain't no better way to cool off, on a hot Summer's day, than to take a long swim (Or even a short swim!), on a hot Summer's day! Whatcha do, is take a quick dip, but kinda quietly, so as to not alarm too many fish...then, after you've taken a dip, stay in the water, and fish, wading either way, upstream or downstream. Personally, though, I start downstream, and wade upstream. I have some experience in this, and it works a lot better, than wading downstream. Sediment stirred up by wading travels downstream, alerting the fish that something is out of balance. It's an alarm system, that spooks them. However, quietly wading upstream should produce more success, in the mode of catching fish.

Brother John-You started your video, by saying that it was hot and humid. 1: I truly appreciate the vast amount of effort you put into making these videos, no matter what the Weather Conditions are. 2:I don't believe that I have to remind you, but I'll do it, anyways. Drink plenty of water, and also, drink plenty of other types of liquids, such as Gatorade. In this Weather, you need to stop drinking drinks with a lot of sugar and caffeine. One, once in a big while, at the very most! I personally wouldn't advise it, but that, of course, is up to you. 3:When wading in the stream(s), keep on doing what I've seen you do in past videos:Take a swim! I know that you know about this stuff already, and I can't tell you what to do...and I wouldn't even dare to try. These are only helpful reminders from an older friend, who's been there, done that. There have been times in my life, when I forgot to bring the proper type of hydration, and I suffered for it! As the old saying goes:An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

Sounds like somebody was either really mad, and decided to just throw it in, or something. I don't know if I'd ever do that, to a Car Door! Hey bro I got a quick question. Shoalie or rvr? I seen your videos and it’s a hard choice I feel. I will be doing a lot of up river/up current fishing and was leaning towards the shoalie. Would love to hear your 2cents and I dang sure appreciate it. I got a 106 paddle and it’s wearing me out fighting the kayak to the point it’s hard to fish. i feel like it pushes through the water more than cutting through it. im like 39 5'7 and 160lbs i leaned on the shoalie more because i seen where some were saying it sits on top of the water more so than the Rvr, and the hull on the shoalie looked more aerodynamic. that the rvr which looked wider and more pontoon ish to me thinking that would create more drag in the current making it harder to paddle upriver. i appreciate you taking the time to give this a read. hope yall had a safe and happy 4th
@CreekFishingAdventures5 ай бұрын
sounds to me like the shoalie would be better for you, i have a 120 paddle and the shoalie definitely paddles upstream better than that and the rvr

Soooo, ya know how they say that black bass aren’t “true bass”, (like white, striped, and yellow are)? They say, “They’re part of the sunfish family”. If you look up the proper name for them though, all you get is some Latin word, which every fish has, but which nobody calls them. So in English, they’ve always been called bass I guess? And what makes a bass a bass? Anyway, it’s just silly to me.
