I was diagnosed with Aspergers when I was 13, they did a good job of showing how some of us learn to be social by watching and mimicking other people. Before going to therapy, I would take on the personalities of my friends. I also liked the idealization of one person he has. She is a mistress who is in love with a murderer, but he sees her as perfect.

And acted like a talkative guy loll. I don't think they're advocating for spying on people. The moral of the story is that things are sometimes not that black and white. Things can be very grey. When we judge people, we need to realize that we could missing important information about the situation. When we're watching a movie we know that Bart is only spying on people to imitate them and learn to speak better. You'd hope that the audience watching the film would have the good sense not to normalize spying on people with cameras. Although, people use their cell phone for spying all the time so I'm pretty sure that ship sailed out a long time ago.
