us hunters need more videos like this . this is what our way of live conveys to the non hunting public.

Agreed! General public seems to have their minds made up before even knowing the basics of hunting and what it`s about. Glad to see content like this. Similar videos have inspired us to make hunting videos of our own, show what we see. Fingers crossed for the future! 🤞

Phantastischer Film!!!

Waidmannsheil! What a fantastic film, so much better than many of the hyped-up action videos we see of hunting and shooting. You explain the feeling and the thinking, which is important. Especially here in the UK where most people are either against hunting or assume it's already illegal!

Wundervoll!

Fantastic film! I do love seeing the landscapes of our European kin that are actually allowed to posses firearms these days, gorgeous. In the forest I hunt primarily, there are no large clearing or fields and the farthest shot I've ever taken was at 50 yards. The forest is too thick.

Around 14:30, what are some of these "hunting customs"? I notice you put a specific type of leaf on or in the deer as well. Can you explain further? I'm surprised it wasn't explained in the video. Sounds intriguing. Fantastic video, hope to see more!

Wunderbar! Just visited Germany for the first time and throughout the entire week saw nothing but stands scattered all across the countryside. Saw about one to two a field. Not even in the states do we have that many stands. Germans must love their hunting!
@olafspetzki6 жыл бұрын
Nice to hear, I hope you had a good time. I can explain that: In Germany you can just hunt if you have the right to do so for that specific area. Some may own a forest, but 99,9% of the time, hunters (a small group, at least 2) rent the hunting rights for an area for a couple of years (around 8 years in average). But within these hunting rights come liabilities. The hunter is responsible for his life stock. That has different consequences. One is, that the hunter has to pay the farmer for every damage, buck, wild hogs and rabbits do. The idea behind this is that the hunter has to keep a balance - stable and healthy game populations, but small enough that they are no problem for agriculture. Hunting in Germany is not just a hobby, it is a service to the society. So, if your hunting area contains fields, you better make sure that your game does not make to much damage. Hunters often pay thousands of € to farmers. That is why you see indicators for intensive hunting on most german fields.
