AH! Karl! At 55:50 of this video you passed a woman with her hair waxed up and in kimono. She was a Maiko! (apprentice geisha, near the end of her apprenticeship by the looks of the style of her top knot. She was probably heading to a lesson or picking something up for her house hold.) this is how they dress during the day. At 56:38 where you were unsure of who the people were. That was another Maiko and her escort taking her from okiya to okiya as well as tea houses to meet and hopeful get to work with them. Her top knot would suggest that she is very new. Though her kimono and Obi are less ceremonial. So this could also be practice? The press always follows maiko/geisha (real ones) because it a dying tradition and very rare to see real ones outside of the tea houses they are performing at.

The first 30mins of this video in Tokyo where absolutely bonkers, those Mario Karts though that would be awesome👍 if only you didnt have to wear the theme jumpsuit that took it to the next level. Once you got out of Tokyo the story evolved and the interactions with the locals was so special and well captured!! A night of Debauchery and Mayhem with the Aussies who us? Couldnt be (hi from Melbourne Australia), bit like every bar or nightclub in Bali guaranteed full of Aussies. No wonder James had to pee so often he had a drink at every vending machine along the way. Nice job guys, really well done and so resputful of the culture and customs. Thanks for sharing👍
