You took five flights for like 2 or 3 days, very tight seats with little room to turn or even sit upright, not to mention the layover hours to get what sleep you could on the ground to finally make it to your destination which just happens to be a place you never been before and probably did not intend to go to if it wasn't for your buddy from Honolulu wearing the Seattle Seahawks Jersey. I say all of this because when u finally touchdown in Saipan, unbeknownst to you, to come across deer meat for dinner fans after travelling hundreds of miles is Truly a Blessing! The icing on the cake is that P.K. gets to see his family after 10+ years. God is Good!!!

Of all my years living stateside there have been hundreds of people who say they want to go to our islands. No one, and I mean NO ONE, has made it out there. Let alone at the drop of a hat. Understandably so, it ain’t cheap to get out there. But once you’re there, it’s a whole different world. Some say anywhere can be home, it’s what you make of it.
