Love this video!!! This girl has done her research! Their conclusion is that she's just confused, when in reality she's never been more clear headed. Loved her responses i.e. "The bible is the truth". Everything she shares based on what she's learned from the scriptures goes right over their heads. She makes valid points and they ignore them all. It's disgusting. Your salvation is dependant on jumping through man made hoops, eg. you couldn't even qualify for baptism until you had submitted at least one field service report . You had to attend meetings . You had to dress a certain way for meetings. The jws make these unscriptural requirements prerequisites for salvation!! Talk about "stopping those on their way in from entering". Does that make the JW GB blood guilty? I'd say so, if I were a bible believer. My last bible student committed suicide. I held the unattainable carrot of everlasting life on a paradise earth in front of her nose, just out of reach. Unattainable because she didn't wear skirts or give up her yoga class.

The experience here is full of sadness but also relief. The sadness comes from seeing how deeply these men idolize the organization, it’s like the golden calf in Moses’s time; they think they worship God but they have made a “calf” their divine channel. The relief comes in knowing how the wisdom of God strengthens Diana with serenity and mildness. They quoted organizational jargon. But her language remained fully Biblical, Christian.

The reason why this woman was disfellowshipped was simply because she was studying the Bible with people who weren't Jehovah's Witnesses, and as we all know any association with people who aren't Jehovah's Witnesses is very highly frowned upon and totally discouraged. Folks who do this are disfellowshipped and shunned. The Jehovah's Witnesses are NOT Christians. They can't be if they treat non-Jehovah's Witnesses like that. The Bible tells us to love one another, not disassociate ourselves from one another simply because they're not a part of a religion. That is totally non-Christian behavior.

There are/were specific rules of incorporation which The Society adhered to in formulating what became the 'Governing Body', back in the early 2000's the so called 'Governing Body' separated itself from the corporate directors to shield itself from legal jeopardy. But the 'Governing Body' still controls who becomes the society's directors. Only the elimination of the corporation will eliminate the Governing Body.

Thank you Diana for showing such strong courage to stand up for Jesus Christ. I cried when I heard you try to tell that all you want to do is study the Bible, but the elders just ignored it. It hurts my heart that those of us who chose/choose to leave the Jehovah's Witness organization are not even worthy of being treated with respect or a human being. My sister is a witness and she claims that I don't even believe in God anymore because I distanced myself from the organization in 1984, I was disfellowshipped. But I just calmly replied that what I did almost 39 years ago was to leave the organization, but I never left God! It's a big difference. So much love to you Diana!

A couple years back in a mid week meeting we were looking at the ministry of Timothy. Specifically a section was where Timothy was sent alone to deal with some people misleading a congregation (sorry I cant recall which congregation and who was the problem). The article included a picture of Timothy in a debate with these men and the congregation was asked to make comments about it. It surprised me no-one seemed to noticed the most important detail, and surprised me more when the elder conducting the meeting was stunned when I pointed it out. Timothy was shown reading from a scroll suggesting that he was using scripture as a basis for his argument, his opponents had their scrolls curdled up in their fists suggesting that they were only interested in their own opinions. Seems to me Diana was playing the part of Timothy with the main exception that she was denied the opportunity to do it in front of the congregation so people could see who was really doing Jehovah's will.

Because she had the audacity to read the bible and come to her own conclusions rather than have them served up and spoonfed to her. That, according to the Watchtower Society, is the same thing as shunning (or disassociating) herself. It's circular logic. It's cruel. And it tears families apart. I truly want to commend you Diana for your respectful attitude throughout this travesty of justice. This clearly shows that the elders only have one goal in mind which is to determine whether a person is loyal to the governing body or not. It reminds me of when I was being investigated for apostasy. They consistently ignored every valid scriptural concern you had and arrogantly implied that you misunderstand the Bible. Remarkably you kept your calm. I would have lost patience with them well before it was over. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but through him. He told his disciples that he would be with them all the days until the conclusion of the system of things at which time he would send the angels, not men, not an organization to serve as an appointed channel to separate the wheat from the weeds. By claiming the authority to separate the wheat, the Watchtower society is working against the interests of the master of the harvest.

Exactly. The GB has acted prematurely and presumptuously by stating that the members of Christendom were "rejected" by Jehovah from 1914 onwards. They were figuratively bundled as weeds, that is, harvested, and await the "furnace". It is my understanding then that members of Christendom who have died since 1914 therefore have no hope of a resurrection. This horrible teaching is one of the main reasons I challenged the GB (wrote to them three times) and ultimately was df'd for apostasy.

I was baptized without having been informed about their Disfellowshipping shunning policy. If I had, I would definitely not have gotten baptized since the idea of being associated with people who could turn against you at any moment as if they were very easily and unemotionally discarding hypocritical masks was repugnant to me. However, i was informed a full three weeks AFTER I had gotten baptized. So I presently consider myself never to have been a legitimate member of this cult due to that deception. Also, I find their feigning to be helping this woman spiritually hypocritical since they have already made up their minds what their decision will be. So what is the point? The elders asked me if I wanted to disassociate I believe for the reason you mentioned at the beginning. So they found another way, someone reported seeing me shooting pool with a disfellowshipped friend and they df'd me for that. I was serious when I said if they tried to tell my family not to talk to me I'd sue not the watchtower, not the congregation, but each of them individually, and I made them write down their names addresses and phone numbers. My family never shunned me, in fact my jw mom and dad let me stay with them when I was going through a nasty divorce. What a shame people have to go through all of this.

His video about the book of Enok is interesting, he shows in that video clearly how a body has a principality ruling it, and when the body is out of control it means it is not humans ruling the body, but a principality. So in the body of Christ, obviously it is Jesus ruling. But in the body of elders? In the Governing Body®? The organisation of Jw is clearly out of control, just by looking how it crushes individual's hopes and dreams and destroy's families and friendships. So who is ruling it?

Your thought reminds me of Romans 12:4-6 "Just as each of us has one body with many members, and not all members have the same function, so in Christ we who are many are one body, and each member belongs to one another. We have different gifts according to the grace given us." The children of God as the body of Christ all belong to each other. There is no spiritual head but Jesus Christ himself. Groups of leadership by men have no spiritual awareness of the meaning of the body of Christ.

This literally made me physically ill. I had to run to the bathroom and threw up. I had to watch this in sections because of how sick I became, BUT, it gave so much healing to me. I won't go into it all right now but I was recently being heavily pursued by 3 JW's and it was when I said very plainly that I'll never belong to a cult that refused to protect me from a sexual predator, who sexualy molested me from the ages of about 9 to 13 years old and I wasn't protected from the horrific abuse from someone else who I won't mention right now, but my life is literally being destroyed right now simply because I took a stand for the one true God. I'm unfortunately disabled and receive SSI Disability so I have to depend on my JW mom for financial help and I'm literally frightened to death over what else is coming to me due to retaliations. That's all I can say for now....

Elders are really "company men" who act as human resource agents for the Watchtower organization. Remember, human resource agents act only in the best interests of the company. Elders search out any who are not loyal to the company, and those who are not actively supporting the policies and mission; as well as, individuals who are not reaching established goals within the corporation. All of these individuals threaten the profitability and outward reputation of of the company, and may affect others in the organization. When individuals inside of the organization/corporation have learned of hypocritical actions, deceitful policies, or lies regarding the actions of representatives of corporation, departments or heads of the corporation (Governing Body) and begin exposing these... Elders (human resource agents of the Watchtower ) are assigned to eliminate or lessen the effects of "whistle blowers" by labeling them "apostates". Once they identify an individual as a "whistle blower" they follow well established company rules and actively pursue any threat that may expose secretive practices, hypocrisy, or harmful or illegal actions that may impact company's profitability. Elders follow corporation guidelines set forth in the exclusive manual for elders, entitled: "Shepherd the Flock of God" published by the WTBTS. 1. To become informed as to the level of knowledge and information a potential whistle blower possesses. 2. Have a formal meeting (Judicial Committee hearing) with them to ascertain the level of dissent or waning support for the organization and threat they pose to the corporation. 3. Formally put the whistle blower on notice their actions constitute disloyalty to the corporation and they will be "fired" from the company losing all benefits and any ties to other members of the corporation. 4. During a congregation meeting ( regularly scheduled corporation workshop) announce the "firing" of those who have failed to follow company rules.

The jdumb who studied with me discouraged me from trying out for a semi pro hockey team because, "the end was so close...." in 1988! A hole. Also broke up with an amazing girlfriend at the urging of the jdumb. I wish I could sue the WT. I hate the voice and demeanor of the main elder. So full of himself. He loves hearing himself speak. I hate the Wt and despise the GB and ALL elders. I look forward to the day they call me for a judicial meeting. They will rue that day!! I think they know not to "go there".

I'm so glad I managed to fade( 30+ years ago! My parents studied and as a youngster into my late teens I was brought up to study and attend meetings, book study etc. I was made to feel guilty when not wanting to go and too scared to do anything about it because of the repercussions which were explained all too often. I was discouraged from certain hobbies and from pursuing certain career paths as a result as well as having girlfriends suggested for me and missing some great other opportunities in life. I was so scared of armageddon and still shudder when I hear thunder. I left home when my parents divorced and moved to a different city thankfully nobody tried to contact me. So glad not to be part of this organisation. I am happy with my life and do my best to live a good one.

Comparing the governing body to Jesus is unreal. I was a witness in the 70's. They have gone from somewhat weird to insane. I actually remember a sister would smoke in the entrance area of the Kingdom Hall. It was frowned upon, but you were not disfellowshiped for it. Very little disfellowshipping in those days. They have gone crazy with power and disfellowship for ridiculous things.
