A Key to Kyrie Irving’s Fluidity - Consecutive Motion Steps

Our biggest reason for terminology is studying and breaking the game down.
That is how we were able to study Kyrie Irving’s game like never before, by tracking every single one of his possessions in a span of 10 games.
Each possession, every dribble, every step, and every technique was reported, allowing us to create what we call the Kai Report.
Allowing us to better understand the skills/techniques used most by the worlds most skilled player.
So we start this series out with the topic of Motion Steps.
In 10 games, Kyrie performed 1,199 Motion Steps. This is to be expected with any ball handler.
But what stands out, is that 524 times, he performed motion steps consecutively! That’s 52 times per game, showing one reason why KAI is so fluid on the basketball court.
But even more astonishing is his Dribble-Step rate of 98%!!!

@@jonq8714 A travel is where you end your dribble and take more than 2 steps. Kyrie still has a live dribble. You can literally take 20 steps if your dribble is still live.
