Henrik's addition to your camp is fantastic. Just a compassionate bloke, who is oblivious that he's surrounded by torturers and murderers. Nevertheless, he helps a fair damsel on a quest and marries her. Andrew and Péronelle (20:50) may struggle to have children, since she is chaste.

Heh I do think he knows his companions are dastardly... He for sure is closer to the more morally savory dudes, but I think he believes in the good of the whole, or even thinks he can change them by example, good deed by good deed.

I think it makes perfect sense for an ambitious group of mercenaries to join in a war for the loot and prestige, rather than a formal monetary reward-especially so when it gives you free rein to pillage the rich merchant republics of northern Italy. There is also the chance for future contracts, since King Alfons is not going to stop campaigning any time soon.

That's true, I just really don't like how it's basically a free 'instantly become friends with a King' button with no consequences. Just feels too easy?

​@@StrayKing Yeah, I get that. However, in the end, it is up to you what-if anything-you want to do with that friendship. You could play it off as grudging respect between two soldiers. Luther does not really strike me as the kind of person who takes hand-outs, anyway.

king Alfons being a much later alexander the great is something I didn't expect but like I think his empire will be a sort of Spanish/roman empire because neither are in game area yet I'm betting it will fall apart when he dies but well it lasts it will definitely be good for merc work

Man, the Piast dynasty is not having a good time rn. Meanwhile, Albertas be scheming 🧐 Ooh, it'd be fun to make a grudge or a rivalry between your daughters Stephanie and Helene, since Helene is the camp's bossy, pretty princess, and Stephania is... infertile and has a bad case of middle child syndrome. I see a lot of potential for jealousy there Hahahaha love is in the air this episode, the kid with Helene, Henrik and Andrew getting married... Proud of Henrik and his first adventure though, saving pretty damsels in distress, getting married, it's all sunshine and roses for him right now, but rosa is older, fickle and lustful... how long until she bores of her young dashing savior? I see some drama in Henrik's future, unless he can keep her entertained...

Forgive me if this was already mentioned by a commenter last episode but if Henrik is a reference to Billy the Kid, given the nickname, it goes doubly so when you factor in that Billy’s real name was Henry McCarty, later Henry Cahill, his stepfather’s nickname I think, before adopting the alias of William H. Bonny

Henrik reminds me a little of John Marston from RDR2, not personality wise but Henrik probably gets bullied by other members of the company for going to rescue and marrying such a lusty woman and daring to bring her back to camp. Also someone said in a earlier episodes comments said that your CoA looks a little like a pair low hanging balls and now i cant unsee it😂 You could put like a cross or a pair of clashing swords above the raven or is Luther just trying to compensate for something?

seeing you abandon a contract when I've gotten so used to stackwiping armies literally 20x larger than mine in this dlc was a bit painful 😂 I know you didn't have many camp upgrades yet but I still think you could've probably won that war (I do think how strong adventurers are is unrealistic and backing out of the war is narratively interest so I'm not actually complaining).

I’m very confident we’d have lost; they had three times as many men at arms + their own mercenaries and three times as many levies. The camp upgrades do make a huge difference. Remember our battle in Poland where they only had 2000 troops with barely any MAA and we lost that one too.

Why don’t u rent a knight from that count and use it as a storyline like he was a household knight of a noble family and changed his path after doing the journey with ur rag tag group of mercenaries

One thing to keep in mind is that I do occasionally change character's hair color in game when I make them. It's entirely possible Alexandra's character DNA hair color is blond but I changed it to black to fit the character description (I actually don't remember if I did or not).

@@StrayKing There are such things as recessive genes. Two black-haired people could have a blond or a redheaded child if they both had the recessive gene. Although I don't know if the game takes that into account.
