In the 2021 season the buffalo bills had the 289 points scored against them (best in the league), then in 2022 had 286 (2nd best in the league). The Lamar hate is just tired at this point. First of all, Nick Wright had the same exact take a couple of weeks ago and it was weak then. No matter what Lamar does, the haters will do what they have always done: move the goalposts. I love this show and want to watch this show to see the visual bits but they way this show uploads videos it makes really had to know if I’m watching a video from the same day or a previous date. I have to make sure it doesn’t start a playing a south beach sessions instead of the big suey because south sessions are on this folder and not on the south beach sessions folder. If you look at the uploads from the local hr and big suey this week it goes not counting the Arod SBS: 2 days ago, 1 day ago, 2 days ago, 4 days ago, 3 days ago. There’s no hr 1 or 2 from Tuesday. I hope this doesn’t come off as hateful to the show and everyone that works on this show but it’s really difficult to watch the whole if it’s not uploaded as a whole show which there’s only one from this week. Just a bizarre standard for what makes someone an elite Qb; by this standard (which is, idk, someone who has won regular season MVP and has had super bowl success), the only elite QB is Mahomes, which seems needlessly narrow. By any other reasonable standard (like oh idk, winning two league MVPS by the age of 27), Lamar has to be an elite QB or the only person who is elite is Mahomes. Players like Josh Allen and Joe Burrow also fail this strict (mahomsian) standard of elite status btw; Burrow never won an mvp or a super bowl, Josh has acheived even less by accolades in the reuglar and post season. One can also acknowledge that this is a giant oppurtunity for the Ravens and to not at least get to the super bowl is a dissapointment; I think the team is this good and the top competition in the AFC relatively weak. Lamar's elite status overall isn't really up for revision in these playoffs, he's insured from that type of talk by his regular season dominance/winning percentages. What is up for debate is his post season reputation; and that's the sort of stuff that really pushes debates in terms of placement in historical rankings/at the end of one's career. Stafford changed the narrative of his career in one postseason. Lamar can do so here as well, or it can get worse and a steeper hill to climb.
