This watch beats the holy Trinity in terms of dial finishing and movement, but the bracelet is too wide and ruins the overall look of the watch (imo)

Totally agree, amazing watch but that bracelet design really lets down what would for sure be an amazing grail piece. It’s almost as though they had 2 separate design teams, 1 for the case and 1 for the bracelet.

The integration allows it to wear more comfortable than a Aqua or a Ym rubber. It sits more flush with no gap. I think Ze Germans know what they're doing.

one thing i love about the Odysseus is that it did not copy the royal oak and nautilus. you take out off the lange logo and you can just tell its a lange sports watch

Hey who knows how your tastes will change over the years, so you might end up with one of those beauties or perhaps another line by them at some point. But you still will have a lot of steel sports to collect once you have all the Rolex's, which is pretty soon. Omega, Grand Seiko, Breitling, or maybe some independent brand? Maybe another Zenith. Fun episode, Great to see that watch.

I own an AP Royal Oak so I’m biased but the AP is better. The rotor on the 3120 movement has far better finishing and the grand tapesserie pattern on the dial is better than what Lange can do. Also, AP has better warranty.

I would like to love this watch more, but the transition between the lugs to bracelet kills it in my opinion. The narrow end-piece connected to wider bracelet link seem like a complete after-thought in my opinion.

It’s a hell of a timepiece but there are some drawbacks. Lange does not make their own case or bracelet on this watch. Also, the price is too high at nearly 30K. That’s 8,000 more than a Royal Oak at retail. Great video though!!

Don’t like it at all… a langhe don’t really take any risks… they’re whole lineup looks the same… the design is way too conservative and I don’t like the look of the bracelet. For a tool watch look they should’ve done more.
