Many see Crujff as the most influential person in the evolution of the modern game, he was the inventor of "Total football" (predecessor to tiki taka) and the 4-3-3 formation, he lead Ajax to 3 UCL titles as a player and later Barcelona to their 1st ever UCL title as a coach. He also won 3 Ballon D'ors, lead the netherlands to a world cup final and coached Guardiola as a player. Alot of Ajax's and Barcelona's identities stem from Cruyff's philosophy. He helped evolve the game and modern football would look different if it wasn't for him, I'd definitely recommend you to check out a informational video about his legacy or sum like that

Johan Cruiff was known in Barcelona as el salvador , Rinus Michels a dutch legendary manager , created total footbal, back in the 60s with ajax after a disasterous year that almost saw them relegated a young Johan Cruijff made it the system work . Creating the legendary club Ajax has become. reaching 4 Champions league finals in 5 years winning 3 in a row. with Rinus michels becoming manager of The dutch national team he reached the final of the world cup . giving the Dutch national team the nick name clockwork orange. When Rinus michels went to barcelona he he contracted johan cruiijff to join him at barcelone winning them the first title since decades, after his footballing carreer he became manager of Ajax and Barcelona winning 4 laliga titles 1 spanish cup , 3 spanish supercups the champions league 2 dutch cups , 2 europa cup II ( cupwinners cup) and 1 eufa supercup . in ten years time. He retired from managing after a conflict with the then club persident. A leggend that played for 30 years on the higest level 1960s 1970s 1980s .

Wrong, Cruijff was the creator of total footbal, but almost everyone thinks it was Michels. No, Cruijff invented it during the game itself. Michels was the coach, but Cruijff did it his way and I am from The Netherlands and we know how it really is. Beside that, I am a huge fan of Johan Cruijff since I was 6 years old in 1961!

october 6 another dutch legend died at te age of 73....Former football player and coach Johan Neeskens has passed away at the age of 73. This was reported by the Dutch Football Association KNVB. Neeskens spent the past few days in Algeria for KNVB WorldCoaches, where he became unwell. Medical help was unfortunately of no avail, according to the KNVB.
