I find these kind of games the most instructive. Strong GM vs a weaker (but still strong) player. Really powerful strategy here

Great stuff and a great tournament. For all Ivanchuk fans (I am), he had a brilliant tactical win in round two.

What an amazing experience you explained at the beginning of this vid! When the Sun 🌞 Shone for about a minute the view was beautiful. What a great game by Prag. Thanks for the fun Cheers

Daniel King, go to the Dali museum in Figueres if you have any chance! They have many of his sketches and it is one of the best musea I have ever been to in my life.

I'm the first. Brilliant commentary Daniel. Love your channel and your analysis. And King's Indian is always special.

Remarkably instructive game. Always wondered what Black should do in the KI when White plays 5.h3. Until now suggested moves didn't cut it. As an A player it wouldn't have crossed my mind in a million years to play 5...e5. Thanks for the great explication Mr. King!

Fan Of your analysis. Thanks a lot. I'm a musician and I remember playing there in 2004 or 2005. Gorgeous. Have fun.

Dan really explains games in an insightful way, a fascinating game begging the question; "What should W do different?" Moving Rf1 instead of b3 doesn't solve the underlying planlessness

The first part of your video got me thinking: If it's not too much trouble, perhaps you could add some short video segments depicting the venue, tournament hall, city, etc. :)

The way he played this was genius because as a kings indian player myself the h3 line is very hard to crack

Good stuff for modern player like. Good to know these ideas if one get's into similar positions. Once was crushed when my opponent played h3+g5 and I castled too soon.

Wait a minute... Mr. King has uploaded a King's Indian that does not blow up in black's face? Is that legal? Well, there is Anand in PraggnANANDhaa. Can't be a coincidence.

that wasn't pleasant to watch for white, especially since I use this system against the KID. I guess the adage "Play the Mainlines" holds true here
