We’re still a little shocked (no pun intended😆) at just how life changing this has been. When we first started this project, we never could’ve imagined it would take as long as it has. There have been so many sacrifices and hard work along the way to get to this moment and the feeling of FINALLY overcoming all the obstacles is nothing short of incredible. I’m so happy for you guys! When we bought our first home in 1984 we were basically infants in the DIY universe! To this day ….I can’t watch HGTV since that inspired us to begin a seemingly endless projectLOL. You have to remember that there were no cellphones, KZbin or even DVD to help the DIY community. Your exhausting work to be truly off-grid, and fully AC functional, makes perfect sense. It will definitely be a game changer for you both. Congratulations also to Tyler on your excellent description of how the system works. It made perfect sense to me and I imagine to most of your audience.. Here in Australia we are getting heavily into solar and wind generation and shutting down coal fired power stations.... Many of us wish to go off grid as our energy costs are forecast to increase over the next year or two by up to 50%. Best wishes from a sunny summer here in Hobart Tasmania. J
