I admire this young man but make no mistake he is building off of what Laird Hamilton ground work. he and his fellow big wave surfers discovered Jaws and discovered that you needed to be towed into these massive waves using a jet ski. He also invented the hydrofoil that rides above the water. having said this I am not taking anything away from Kai he is doing things on these waves that would kill the average human being!

These are serious questions; dead serious. It is good to see you thinking about it. As an active creative person, I would urge you to think outside of the box too. It is good to have mentors and people who can model life in front of you - but ultimately, you are responsible for yourself, for your choices, your actions, even your words. So, think divergently as well as convergently. Yes, divergence is a real thing and in some things, absolutely critical. Think and pray too. Think about it from different angles. Listen to counsel from all sides. Hey, the world is a big place with lots of possibilities - just when you think you are big, you could get bigger, but in a whole new way. May God give you wisdom, grace, real love, and self control. What a nice family you have.
