That Jan 22 swell was👺in Hawaii. Pity it didn't have a tad more north for the "big left" to stay more open rather than violently clamp like most were that day. The bay was as beautiful I've ever seen it that day.

As a Swede.. when i die i goes to heaven, i will sit down with God and have a serious conversation... NOT happy being born so far away from a beach with great waves... Loved the snowboarding untill 21 when i started traveling 1/2 year every year since 1999... NOTHING beats Surfing and everything around it.. I am a very lucku viking whove seen 46 countries and evenpicked up a few languages.. BUT, in my next life i will be born on a beach

These guys monitor the weather around the world. They always know a few days before the big swells arrive. They are usually flying around the world at short notice.

Plenty of people do. It's a great story. He's an all-around shredder. Surfing, winging, windsurfing, kiting. I can't think of anyone that even comes close.
