I want an episode about finances! I wanna hear about any debt problems you guys had with your career/s being a bit less than traditional; if the house-buying process was stupider than normal because of it; do you two share bank accounts and/or credit cards and your bill-paying set up. Any goals you guys have for finances, like 1 year living expenses saved up, anything you feel like you wasted your money on, the works. Like, I need a good financial role model, dude. Please be it.

Coming out of an extremely toxic relationship, I’ve found it hard to take care of myself and genuinely feel my emotions, because I was never allowed to. I quit my job (which was emotionally trying) and have scrambled to pick up the pieces and start over. Sometimes we just need to center ourselves and practice self-care- which is what I would tell my clients without practicing it myself and felt super hypocritical. We need that time to validate our own feelings and start with a fresh mindset. You’re incredibly brave to acknowledge your feelings publicly and in the process, I feel like you validated my own. I’ll be thinking about you as you continue on your journey! Sending you tons of love ❤️

I can’t imagine what you go through being on social media. However I feel I can somehow relate. Since becoming a mother I constantly feel judged, I feel forgotten about and I truly feel like I have lost myself and who I am. (Don’t get me wrong I LOVE my daughter she is my world) I’m trying my best to get back to doing the things I love and finding what makes me happy but I want you to know I was touched by this video! It made me wonder if there was a retreat near me that I could go to, to reconnect with myself Keeping being yourself Katy! I love that 💕

Brettlie Pickering the transition into motherhood is rough. Mothers do judge other mothers, and social media makes us think we could always be better or love our kids more by doing XYZ, it’s rough. Plus the mom guilt is no freaking joke. It’s ok to take time for yourself. Happy mama happy babe!

Self care is everything, I read this scenario in a book the other day “ picture yourself as a vase and if your on a rocky foundation everytime you help someone you’ll tip and spill and eventually your vase will fall over and break.. if your on a solid foundation you will never break” so true. Also your almost to 2 million and deserve every bit of it 😊

So proud of you for listening to your body and soul and taking care of YOU! Learning coping mechanisms and knowing what your red flags are are key to being able to take care of your mental health and preventing a spiral. A huge part of our behaviors are based on past experiences or emotions we never really faced or processed. We all deal with feelings and mental health differently and there is no right or wrong time to share your journey. So happy you shared with us what you’ve been through, it shows people watching that you are human too and deal with a lot of the same things we deal with. ❤️ thanks for being genuine and for being you!

I have always loved your videos since finding you what feels like eons ago but in the last year your and Jon’s videos and content have been really lovely and calming and just feel good vibes overall. The way that you guys have opened up and shared these parts of your lives just feel so real and genuine. The love that you too share shines through the screen and seeing you push and pull each other for the better is inspiring. As for your mental state I feel you completely. I feel we as women deal with that immensely because we take on so much and want to do for others while neglecting ourselves or feel that we are undeserving for whatever or that it’s just the way it is. Expressing these feelings is hard because we feel judged or weak or that our feelings are not valid or worth sharing.

Take care of yourself 💕 you made a perfect point in saying that you would never tell someone their feelings aren’t valid, yet you were quick to talk to yourself that way. This is something I keep in mind when I’m talking to myself. (I tryyyyy lol) take your ten day experience and try to fit it into you life routine. Not 10 days each time but maybe give yourself 2 days a month every other etc.. to shut everything down, unplug, and maybe add in a few of the things you experienced on your retreat. You’re such a pleasure to watch, do you you’re obviously loved and blessed, so don’t worry about how you come across w anything . Take care mama 🙏🏼😘😘😘😘

This video hit so hard. I had a baby eight months ago and she’s an angel but I’ve been feeling so sad and just down since her birth and I’ve been saying to myself that i don’t have the right to feel sad or depressed because there’s so many mothers out there who have to work harder than me and it could be so much worse than I have it. I almost cried seeing you say that you felt like that and that you would never say that to anyone else which is the same case with me. I would never say to someone that they don’t have the right to feel that way but for some reason I don’t let myself have those feelings? I’m not good at verbalizing either so I hope this makes sense but this video really helped me ❤️ I hope I can do some work on myself as well . Love you Katy and I’m so happy you’re feeling better!

Katy, thank you for taking the time to be vulnerable and share about your experience lately feeling low. We only have one mind and body and just like everything else in life, they require maintenance. I’m happy for you for finding a retreat to help you rediscover yourself. Mental health is just as important as physical health; if you have a broken bone, then you seek a doctor. Unfortunately sometimes we hesitate to seek mental health services because we can’t visibly see how much we actually have going on. Stay strong Katy and keep taking care of yourself girl because you’re worth it! Rooting for you and Joons and the girls since day one. Sending lots of love and positive vibes your way 💗

Katy, your feelings are always valid. Unless someone IS you (which can never happen), than they can never tell you how you should feel. It’s already so hard to deal with negative thoughts and emotions, and it’s even harder to try admitting it and getting help. I’m proud of you for acknowledging what was going on and deciding to get help; you’re extremely brave for doing it and for telling millions of people online. ❤️ I hope you take what you learned and apply it to your daily life with your family. xo

Idk if this is crazy to say, but I can actually see and feel you radiate from the screen. There is something about the way you are speaking that makes me feel the retreat truly had a change. Do not by any means make yourself feel like seeking help for yourself means you are not normal. There are a lot of people who go to or have gone to therapy (me included) and saves them from being in a terrible headspace. Negative thoughts, sorrow feelings, and not knowing your life meaning is normal, but sometimes you do need something to clear those thoughts. It makes me happy seeing you feel better. Can't wait for all the cool content you have in mind!

I think it’s so important for everyone to take a step back and reflect! When you feel like something is off, it usually is. Unplugging and getting away from habits is so healthy! Proud of you Katy, you inspire me 🙌🏼

i’m grateful for this video. thank you for being vulnerable & sharing this, when you don’t have to. it’s refreshing to see a woman who seemingly has a perfect life, experience feelings we all do. it makes you human & beautiful. i’m genuinely happy for you katy!

Glad to know that you were able to take a step back and take personal time to care for yourself. It's hard breaking for me to see how hard it is for us to accept that we all need validation and time for self reflection. Take good care and always make yourself a priority. I personally went to a treatment program and it changed my life in such a positive way

I love that you were able to unplug and connect with yourself. Im currently going through a phase in my life where Im finding myself and focusing on my purpose. Once you get a chance to get quiet, literally all the answers come to you. Ive been reading a book call the artist's way and everyday we have to write 3 pages of "morning pages" where we also "dish" out all the things in our mind that hold you back from doing everything you want to do. I would highly recommend that book! I think you'll really enjoy it!

I love that you are open about this and also knowing that this is an outlet to step away from the news. The last thing I want is for my favorites to talk about that (I'm sure we all know what I mean by "that"). It's all that i stalked about but glad you are doing well. STAY SAFE EVERYONE

Just because you’re on You Tube doesn’t mean you have to share everything going on in your life. You owe it to yourself to have some semblance of privacy, as well as taking care of yourself should come first. As women, I think we have gotten in the habit of trying to do too much without fulfilling our own needs first. Especially in the realm of social media. I’m glad you’re taking the time you need to center & nourish your spirit. It’s good to see your smile again. 😍
