@@rk-mu8yf ;) No don't do that! We're told you need to ask once at the beginning of vids and once at the end so we'll do that for a while and try to boost numbers. Note we have ads set to absolute minimum so we make almost nothing on this channel. We need to it grow large to show an ROI so we'll be pushing on subs until it happens. Great coverage on my favorite investment, energy storage. I understand that it's not investable for you yet, but keep an eye on $GMG.V and $GWH for non-lithuim based energy storage. Merry Christmas!

Nice mention of ESS (GWH) - a flow battery firm that went public via SPAC. You've already guessed what we're going to say. ;) We'll take a closer look for sure once they have meaningful revenues. Good call. We covered them in our original piece on 8 largest battery producers (www.nanalyze.com/2021/02/8-biggest-lithium-battery-stocks/). It's a conglomerate (nothing wrong with that) but we're looking for pure plays.

i used to work for a very small medical device manufacturer... just 5 of us in the lab/production, it seems like the strength of your engineers and scientists are what make or break a place. we skyrocketed based on the brilliance of a optical physicist.. right guy at the right time. i felt pretty smart when i figured out the trick he did with just a few semesters of chemistry lol.

I'm more interested in the companies who are the clients of the battery providers. Who is buying electricity at 0 euro in Germany at mid day and selling it at 100+ euro/Mwh in the evening? Seems very profitable but can't really pin down which companies are focussed on this.

Most companies don't name clients unless they're over 10% of revenues, and even then, most times they don't name names.

Great video Joe! I have a large risky position in ABML, and two small positions in QS and BYD. I will buy more of the last two if I need more exposure in this sector.

@@daniuskac1527 Have not, thank you for the heads up. We have limited research resources as we try and scale our business so we're largely focused on disruptive tech. Our dividend growth investing strategy sort of fends for itself right now, though we plan to scale that vertical as well.

Do you think premiere assets listed on NASDAQ will ever be issued as security tokens on a blockchain? I've read your other posts from 2018.
@Nanalyze Жыл бұрын
Blockchain started out as a solution looking for the problem. For any given use case, always ask the question - what problem is being solved? We already have fractional share ownership that works just fine, free trading, good reporting, etc. What problem would blockchain solve?
@johndoe1646 Жыл бұрын
@Nanalyze phantom shares (used by short sellers), counter-party risk, instant settlement. Patrick Byrne moved overstock to a security token, due to this.
@joepiv Жыл бұрын
@@johndoe1646 For all practical purposes these are problems that can be handled using the current systems. We've spent a fair amount of time speaking with the folks at Securitize and the low-hanging fruit would be more along the lines of VC/PE funds. Overhauling some of the world's largest exchanges with blockchain probably won't happen anytime soon. We've met with firms working on blockchain for oil supply chain and real estate and spoke with the founders on their respective use cases which are very credible and create lots of efficiencies.
@johndoe1646 Жыл бұрын
@@joepiv Gotcha, I've looked into the start-ups creating fractional shares for real estate assets, but they seem to all want to create their own monopolized order book. Instead of opening themselves up to interoperability across multiple exchanges with a blockchain being the transport mechanism between exchanges. From a regulatory perspective it seems real world commodities / currencies will be the first to go on-chain.

Have been waiting for videos like this. Also more videos about the clean energy sector which I'm told is the future, Ai stocks, best in class and where smart money is moving into would be very helpful. Investing is no fun now days because of the environment we are in. Seems like nothing is safe. But one day when it turns I would like to know about the stocks that have potential to have long term growth. Apple, meta, Amazon and alike already had their best days maybe?. Looking for the best future Apples of the world. KZbinrs think Pltr, sofi, plug, enph, Tesla, nio, dna and alike are the future. It's so confusing, I don't know but excited to listen and learn from people like yourself..

Generational wealth is built during bear markets as they say. Quality companies are now trading at large discounts (not to say they won't fall further). As long as you're investing in quality companies you needn't worry. Don't try to find "the next Tesla" or "the next Microsoft" as that's the wrong approach. Decide how much capital you want to allocated to tech stocks and then invest in quality names using dollar-cost-averaging. Yes, it's overwhelming, don't worry. Just learn as much as possible and don't stress. ;)
