Hi. May I ask how the crime was in Guyana? I have been wanting to go there for many years but many Guyanese I know discouraged me from going because they said there is so much crime there. Would greatly appreciate your input. Thank you.

Hi Manny, thank you for asking:) I personally had a good time in Guyana. I'm sure the Guyanese people you talked to know more about the country than I do. What I can say is that I didn't get involved with any crimes except with some border police on the way to Brazil. Some asked me for bribe but I didn't. I walked around a lot of parts in Georgetown and talked to people at stores, markets and on the street as well. I took some tours and talked to people in a small community as well. They were really nice. I didn't go out at night though. Just to be fair you know:) hope you have a good time there if you decided to go!
