Glad to see you're doing well in Taiwan! The flashcards are very cool! I'm not a big fan of oatmeal and never really thought of it as a possible rice substitute. If you enjoy it, that's great! I just learned how to make rice without a rice cooker. The key things to look up are the water to rice ratio depending on type of rice, and time it takes to cook - just need a small pot :)

Steph, it is a welcome surprise to see you back on KZbin with new video content! It brings back the memories of watching your content regularly and supporting you. I even remember sending you an email once a few years ago. Looking back, it looks like I have been a subscriber since 2015. I know a lot has changed since then, but great to see you are doing better and living in Taiwan now. I visited Taiwan for 10 days back in 2017 with family on vacation and got to see different parts of the island. I remember the food being really good in Taiwan. I self studied Mandarin Chinese for a period of about 3 years and I can understand and speak some basic Chinese now. Keep up your Chinese language studies, continue to practice, and you will learn the language. 你很棒! 加油!
