Just subscribed Derek. I still have about 150 Topper JLs. Even though they don't usually bring the prices of a lot of Hot Wheels redlines, I think they were produced in lower numbers. I still remember one of the commercial jingles for the Toppers, which probably can be found on youtube. I sold most of my redline collection in 2009 auctioned individually on ebay, but still have about 100 of the ones I had bought as a kid. Too many memories involved with those to part with them. The late '60s were a great time growing up for a kid who was into cars, with redlines, Topper JLs, and HO scale slot cars all in their heyday. I still actively collect and deal in slot cars as a reseller. I'll be looking forward to seeing if some of the guests you have on video talk about the old stuff from back then. Best of luck with your channel!

Wow, 150 Toppers are quite a lot. 3 years ago, I didn't know they exist 🙂 Recently bought some of the original Toppers and some reproduction and the Tom Daniel Models of corse.

Nice presentation...Very informative! I've always wanted to know who Topper's original designers were. Mattel's designers held such a high profile while Topper designers remained in obscurity.

Your knowledge is amazing on these, just a suggestion as many if not most of your subs are resellers. So you might consider giving values to the cars as you are explaining them so we can see what we need to look for and not over pay for them.

I picked up 40 or 50 JLs on card last week if you know anyone interested. If I recall correctly, there's 1 Topper, about 8 Zingers and more. All cars are Thunderbirds, released in the 90's. Cars are mint but the cards are not, some have yellowed blisters.
