12.37 Remove the ends ofvthe beans. Wash them. Dry them with a cloth. Put olive oil in a saucepan, grate some onion, heat the oil on high temperature and when onion is sizzling put the green beans in.Also peel and cut lengthwise some potatoes.Put them in the saucepan.Stir evetything and then add a bit of water and lower the heat.Add some chopped garlic and fresh dill. Let everything cook till they are soft. Add tomatoe sauce(from a big squeezed tomato) and let them cook until the juice is reduced and looks nice. Add salt and after 5 minutes turn the heat off.

Ciao from Italy: Surprise surprise!! We stopped at our favorite garden center yesterday (here, outside Lucca, Tuscany) to check out the Fall mum display, and lo and behold there were Proven Winner "Winter Garden" dish gardens available...first time we've seen Proven Winner products here. It has been wonderful watching you and Aaron using the many beautiful flowering plants they create, but until now we've had to watch from afar...not anymore!! The owner said they were going to stock lots of the Spring and Summer flowers as soon as the year turns, so we are very excited..they are growing here in Italy up in Bolzano, a district to the North of us. We have access to many of the Holland floral products, of course, but just thinking about getting the Proven Winners flowers and plants...unbelievable!! Thought you'd like to know! Thanks for doing such a great job...stay healthy and safe!

I just ripped out my bright white annuals. With all the colors of fall they weren't pleasing me anymore. I love the warm white colors you put in that flower bed. The play so nicely with the greens. Even the lobularia has enough green to offset the brightness. I planted cilantro for the first time last year and was very careful when cutting for cooking so I didn't damage the plant. To see you reach in and grab a handful of parsley made me laugh! Watching Benjamin always brings back my favorite memories with my girls. Thank you, to all 3 of you, for opening your life to us. Total light bulb for me a couple years ago: use a cheese grater to grate your garlic. Makes it super smooth and just melts like butter into what you are cooking! :)
