Weirdly I haven't been getting any notifications or recommendations for this channel in a while. I've been poking around at some other channels in the meantime. Oddly enough today I'm wearing BT bone conducting headphones and it seems appropriate for the subject matter...

So I think I missed it. But is this a real lollipop? As in does the casing melt? If so am I expected to throw it out? If not. How am I supposed to know if the resin is food safe and I won't poison myself with this one. Also I was very excited to hear how well the hydromic picked up the sound! It made feel like magic how only on contact we can hear sound!

I can only assume it's safe for consumption. I grew up drinking out of the garden hose though so I may be built different than many younger viewers.

@@SoundSpeeds you got me giggling! I was just wondering since like you said some parents would give this stuff to your kids. So definitely wanted to know how safe they are to eat or accidentally digest. I suppose I will keep it in mind to not give it to kids just in case one of those companies try to cheap out.

After this video, I crunched and ate up the lollipop. I'm still alive. Tasted like blueberry hard candy... by design.

@@SoundSpeeds sorry to take your time over watching the eclipse today - NASA got a live stream going rn btw- But is the lollipop meant to be usable after the casing is gone? If so how does the sound change compared to when before it was eaten? As it definitely looks like a cool gimic just seems to be one time use no?

The sound quality didn't noticeably change before and after I ate the candy part. What did change the sound was holding it to my top molars made some of the bass go away and holding it against just the bottom molars took away some of the highs.
