Grant's version is def my favorite, but the others were also quite awesome. Make sure to tell Grant he didn't sound anything like Kermit. I'd buy the CD, lol

NICE JOB, EVERYONE! I'm not driving the ski hill groomer this year, so my podcast time has been severely limited and I'm so far behind I didn't even know about this! This is probably the most important song in my musical life and I loved all 3 of these covers!!

The Ska version had a great energy, it sounded like all local the ska bands from my 20's. The second song sounded like Babylon Zoo (from the 90's hit song "Spaceman") did the cover. The third one sounded like they were playing the original record on the wrong speed setting....lol.

well this was fun. like sad/fun (y'know, being that its a sad sounding song and all). the ska singer sounded like Frankie Stubbs of leatherface impersonating Tim Armstrong of rancid.

Sped the third one up to 1.75 and it was MUCH better!

I feel that's a little too quick for Counting Crows' vibe, seems like 1.25 is a sweet spot. Just my opinion though. Thanks for the suggestion to speed it up!

I love the 2nd and 3rd versions. The vocals were horrible in the first one. Ska music just grates on my nerves, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised i didn't like the first one
