Hej Björn, Thanks for the great content. I learn a lot from your videos, and I am wondering how you taxi at busy international airports. Could you give a short breif on the tiller, charts and about left or right traffic. I know at Stockholm Arlanda you taxi on the left side. But I am still confused as I see planes taxi in both directions on the left taxi way. How come? It would be amazing if you could make a short video explaining this. :) Best regards, Markus

I was in Houston Texas , great airport, and some of the best training center's that's what I was there for, two weeks at the Marriot hotel nice stay anyway on one of my lunch breaks I went over to the simulator, and was watching a pilot in action trying to land in a thunderstorm and he was all over the place, so lunch was over but I had to stay to ask him how he did ? The instructor and him came out and I asked, just the look on his face and he said with a quiet voice I CRASHED AND KILLED EVERYONE ON BOARD ? We already know that lol but that's what the training is for... Lots of great people in Houston Texas , had a ball with all the pilots from all over the globe... One night some buddy's and I were going up to the bar at the end of the runway , great view, and we were kidding about some pilots, can't remember what airline ? And guess what ? This cowboy and his cowgirl wife with a Swedish accent said hay im one of those 😂 he was in Houston for the weekend and had his wife with him, so long story short we set together for the rest of the night, we had a great time... Love to all the pilots of the world....

@leisurely67113 жыл бұрын
Btw I forgot to also ask but do some planes like the 350 and 787 have anything to counteract the turbulence? I heard there was a program Delta and Lufthansa was going to do to test a laser that does that but I also heard some newer planes have a stabilizer of some sort to reduce it.

On the A320 it often is because of pressurising the yellow hydraulic system for the parking brake and there is no electric pump on the green system. On the A330 all 3 systems have electric pumps
@edmondhung60973 жыл бұрын
@@tomstravels520 So it is basically A330 only procedure.
@tomstravels5203 жыл бұрын
@@edmondhung6097 depends on other aircraft. The A320 you can start engine 1 first if you’re doing a 1 engine taxi but then you need to turn on yellow electric pump to have a parking brake. The A350 I think you can start either engine as well as one engine pressurises both yellow and green system (no blue)

There is information on optimum flightlevel etc in the fms, but the program for flightplanning has 100 times more data, like temperatures everywhere, tropopaus and more. So much better to follow the step climbs on the flight plan, provided weights are acurate. If not we request a new flightplan.
