Airbus 330E from Copenhagen. We often fly pharma and other cargo and that’s important infrastructure.
Explaining how we save fuel by leaving early so we can fly with an economical speed. Direct routes and optimized step climbs. Also some stuff for the #boeinglovers, sorry. 😉😅😂
Always safety first and this plane is steady as a rock. Flying is totally free from drama!
Thank you for recommending my channel for your friends. 💙🙏🏼😊
Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Unfortunately I messed my life up when I was young, about to go to flight school then started doing the wrong things , hanging with the wrong people and lost that dream. Only thing I can get is Flight Sims and watching your videos. Anyways, I appreciate your videos and am very thankful and its a beautiful career. Enjoy! Oh, and keep the videos coming! Cheers 🍻

Every day I fly the Airbus A320 on flight simulator 2020, even if it's only a simulator it's what will always be for me the closest to reality. The more I discover your videos and the more I realize how "easy" these planes are, if I can say so thanks to the autopilot. Maybe one day I will have the chance to be in the cockpit. In the meantime it's a pleasure to discover your videos and to share these little moments in the air. Thank you again and look forward to discover the rest. It always amazes me how, in this modern airliners the cabin is so quiet that you can use ordinary microphone and speakers to use the radio. I think that's impossible to do in older and much noisier airplanes like a 737, where pilots need to use earphones all the time.
@TheFighterDoctor
@TheFighterDoctor 4 жыл бұрын
No the 737 allows pilots to talk without earphones, even if it's louder than in an Airbus. Even the 727 allowed that. I think though smaller planes are much noiser, like for example E170 where we were not leaving our earphones.

I show the cpdlc on the front panel and the acars aft on the center console. We have sat-phone too, also HF but we don’t use it much. Only as backup.

How does turbulence affect you in the cockpit?
@bjornpilot
@bjornpilot 4 жыл бұрын
Not very much. We put the seatbelt sign on and speak to the passengers, explaining that it’s invisible waves in the atmosphere, like waves on the ocean. Nothing to worry about, a comfort issue only. 😊

But i still don't get how rest time is divided on long haul flights with 3 pilots Or does the captain stay in the cockpit through out the whole flight? Cause I learnt 2 co pilots arent allowed to fly the plane
@bjornpilot
@bjornpilot 4 жыл бұрын
No a captain also can take a nap in the crew bunk. The copilots are qualified to temporarily have command.

Does the flight info of the other aircraft around you get transmitted via satellite? Thanks for the videos as always!
@bjornpilot
@bjornpilot 3 жыл бұрын
No, via direct radio signals through the TCAS system. The planes systems communicate and avoid, like ”If I climb, you descend”.

A great video. Does anyone know what the little slip of paper is stuck to the front of the thrust controllers. Is that like a reminder of some sort? Or just a flight number?

Captain, greetings to you ! I used to follow you on Instagram where you had the kindness to answer my questions, but I had to close my account due to awkward malfunctions and I was so sad to leave you and other cool pilots behind. I'm so glad you're on KZbin making top notch videos and teaching us so many things from the most important basics to the crispy nitty gritty. Here I learnt so much about fuel saving in about 15 minutes and it was most relaxing ! Were you only 2 pilots for what I believe is an about 9 hour-long flight ? In that case, do you get to have some rest in the cockpit or in the crew rest ? Thank you so much again, best regards from France :)
