Grew up in a very abusive home, both mentally and physically. The only time we got together as a family and shared our laughter was while watching her show. I don't think I would have made through my childhood without her. 🥰❤

I study Epigenetic Aging and Bad mental Health, Anger, Depression, anxiety causes premature aging and shorter mortality. Happiness, calm REDUCE VERY little cortisol. Bad mental health releases to much cortisol and it shortened Telomeres and shortened life span. Japanese are famous for living over 100 years old due to Diet, Cadio Exercise, RESPECT of each other, and NO processed foods and no sugar!

My mother would laugh so hard while watching the show, I was a child in bed listening to my usually depressed mother laugh for an hour. It taught me to use comedy with my mom to cheer her up. Comedy helps people, and Carol Burnett and the cast helped so many.

She is the Queen of T.V. and she made me tear up talking like she did. Because we all know there's an end and hers is a legend that will NEVER be taken over!!!! And the times were so much more simpler and slower than today!! In todays world time is flying because everything is instantaneous and now days if you are on tv, you are here one minute and gone the next, there's no lifeline to the entertainment business anymore, its quick and yer done. In a world of cynicism it’s wonderful to have a memory of growing up with a genuine heart of a very talented entertainer whose motivation was not egocentric. She just wanted everyone to be happy and have a laugh. It wasn’t about the fame or money . She understood life wasn’t easy and gave joy to all of us . We needed her then and it’s wonderful to know how much we always will . We love her because she loved us . There isn’t anything in life more important than that . Happy Birthday Carol .

I LOVE Carol Burnett! I went through a very tough time in my life when I was in my late 20s, and her show was the ONLY thing that made me laugh during that time. She added some sunshine to my life once a week. I have always wanted to meet her in person, and thank her and give her a big hug! She has no idea what a difference that made in my life during that time. I am in my 70’s now and sadly, have never got to meet her in person.

I was in elementary school when her last show aired. I remember being sad. I knew there would never be someone as lovable and talented as her. My best memories were when my mom and I would watch her show and laugh until we cried. When she was dying of cancer, I had turned the t.v. to a rerun episode of Carol Burnett. My mom could barely sit up but I heard her laugh at Carol. Mom has been gone ten years now. Miss her so much.

That’s a beautiful memory about your mom. ❤ I’m 60 years young. When I was growing up in Puerto Rico, a lot of the other kids I played with used to tell me that I looked like Carol Burnett. There’s no physical resemblance there. They were saying it because I’ve always loved to make faces and being silly and funny. I still do it now. I’d love to meet her someday. I remember watching her Gone with the Wind sketch when it first aired in 1976. It’s as funny now as it was then.
