Thanks for Making your channel and for not rattle canning the car Civics have a Good and bad image and hopefully you'll stay clear of the bad side because it affects all of us. You did make it clear that this car os a low budget daily so you may not be into them as much as I am... For me they are a weekend toy. I specialize in EJ1/EJ2 and the EJ8..( I own both). Im looking forward to seeing the work you put into it...I feel you already know the first step is the get everything mechanically straight with the car. Im doing the same thing except my cars sat for 11 years so many old parts had to be replaced.

Absolutely, I love civics, I've had a few...my favorite being an eg hatch with a legitimate b18c5, itr seats etc. Which i really miss driving, i may get into what happened with that at some point. A car like this, I am on a pretty limited budget, but I would rather drive it than see it go to a junk yard which it was close to being in. Would love to see the progress on your cars, 11 years sitting is rough. Hondas are resilient vehicles though. Thanks for watching.

First off, lovin' the fresh intro here! When you pulled into the spot and the car stopped perfectly framed in the shot, I felt like all was right in this world. 😌 This is such a cool overview of your EJ1 Honda Civic. I totally agree that the exterior color is purple, haha, but it's definitely an interesting shade... I dig it. Also, dang dude, glad you didn't die in this thing. 😅 Can't believe that piss poor installation job, but I'm glad you discovered it before it became a major problem!

These are great vehicles, good for learning how to work on cars. Most have been well used at this point so you just want to watch out for rust, make sure to check all the basic things( check for smoke from exhaust, make sure heat works and blows hot, make sure to drive and see the car runs well without overheating etc.) Then, depending on what you're looking for you can consider that the ex model like this has the single cam vtec engine which is fun but not fast...you could consider trying to fund one that has been swapped with a b series dual cam engine. If you find an integra, you'll get a dohc engine already...and some may even have all wheel disc brakes which is a great improvement, so you may want to look into that. Good luck on finding a car, keep us posted.
