P&S Absolute is a new product introduced into the rinseless wash market. I figured it would be a good side by side comparison using it alongside Optimum No Rinse as many will have questions on which is better than the other. P&S has come in strong with a good product into the rinseless wash market.

Excellent video and test. I've done the same side by side testing with ONR vs. N914...and plan to do more of the same with Absolute vs. both of them. Using them side by side is a great way to illustrate what the small differences are between products, but it also makes you realize how similar they are too when it comes to final results. People get too obsessed with what is "the best" for a given type of detailing product. I would argue that there are many "best products," but if you want to find the one that you enjoy using the most...you just need to try them out for yourself and come to your own conclusions. I'm glad we have another big player in the rinseless game now. There are what seems like a million soaps on the market...why not rinseless washes too? For me, rinseless is the superior wash method for my particular conditions and preferences. ONR has always come out on top in my experience, but that doesn't mean I'm "right" or that others are "wrong" for liking something else. I know it was TRC that termed this a "game changer." Is Absolute dramatically different and game-changing from other rinseless washes? No. It functions very similarly to ONR with some small differences in user experience...so there is nothing game changing in that respect. But it does so with new chemistry from a company that has never made a rinseless before. So in that respect I do think it changes the game in that there is another rinseless product that TRC carries now (after being solely ONR for almost a decade). Besides towels, TRC largely built their business around ONR. There has been a lot of intense discussion online since this was announced, and some people (who take things too seriously) have been mad at TRC. People need to calm down and keep things in perspective. TRC shoots from the hip (unscripted), and try to keep things positive and fun. Their job is to get people interested and sell products. That is what businesses do. Some people have a problem with that, I couldn't care less. They have earned my trust because I know they put a lot of work in behind the scenes and only carry products that they trust and have good experience with...and not everything makes the cut. I think people just need to calm down with the tribal thinking and always trying to find a way to bash others. Say what you want about TRC, but they are very collaborative and maintain good relationships...even with their competitors. We could all learn something from that. ONR is an outstanding product, and I will always have it in my cabinet. That said, I will probably be using more Absolute than ONR from now on. Primarily because of the slickness, and I perceive that it has a bit more cleaning power (though that could just be placebo). No one needs to throw out their ONR, N914 or Wipeout and replace it with Absolute. Keep using what you have, and try using Absolute when you run low, or just feel like trying something different. Stay calm and have fun washing cars with the products YOU like.

Thanks for this video, just saw it today. I'm new to rinseless washing, and last week I did my first rinseless wash with ONR (of my own car, I'm an enthusiast). Today I washed my car with Absolute. I couldn't quite put my finger on why I enjoyed the wash much more today than I did last week, but I think you nailed it -- it must have been the slickness. It will be interesting to see how much Arizona dust sits on my car this week after the Absolute wash. Last week, after the ONR wash, my car seemed to attract quite a bit more dust than usual. No matter which product I settle on, I'm definitely a fan of the rinseless wash method -- it's really nice and convenient for those in-between washes. Thanks again, enjoyed the video!

As a detailer, i like ONR because of the price here in the U.S. HOWEVER N914 is a stronger cleaner. The surface will be a lot more dry and tacky, but this actually is something i dont like. What i tend to do is fill up a 2 gallon home depot pump sprayer with ONR and ADD a cermaic 3-1 by griots, or ceramic speed shine, bead it up... anything that is affordable and gives great gloss/results. The outcomes is PHENOMENAL and the slickness is crazy! Ive poured half a bottles of griots 3-1 ceramic wax and WOW is it slick. The grime comes up WAY better with added lubrication (even use p&s showroom shine). Just depends on what im trying to do. MCKEES is very very good but i use it when im trying to apply a sealant / get longer lasting results from a cleaner surface for peoduct to cling onto. Onr is a good clay lube and window cleaner too Does anyone else do this? I highly reccomed it. Try it in the 2 gallon HDX pump sprayer. Makes me lots of money doing exterior details and is a big time $ saver aswell. Also saves time and mess. I love rinseless! You realize how much mess a pressure washer can make pfeww

The reason I am a diehard ONR fan is because of its many uses. It just simply works on the exterior AND interior. It softens the water so you don’t get water spots (unlike the surfactant ones with really hard water). I have done tests with ONR and wholly trust in the science behind it. My question is, does Absolute cause interior panels to be slick or have a shine to them? This is the main question I want answered and nobody is talking about it. The rag company has said absolute is their preferred for EXTERIOR washes which makes me hesitant about its use on interior panels.
@MikeGDetailing

Absolute will not do anything to the interior panel other than clean it.
