Any foreign military airframe would be interdicted trying to penetrative CONUS. The old F15 is fine for most (not all, most notably drones) domestic air threats.

Domestic No-Fly zones are enforced by air national guard units instead of active duty, of which nevada only has a airlift wing, so fighters from cali are used instead
