Now that I think about it, they could've gave us amiibo cards with ORAS as a throwback to RSE with the e-Cards, kinda weird that they never used the Amiibo for the mainline series

Given how Pokemon have already put their hands on all these ideas it makes their distance towards real amiibo completely random... It would be so easy to implement an NPC that if you show an amiibo it will say/trigger that pokemon is appearing in a raid with augmented shiny or hidden ability chances. You could even use non pokemon amiibo to trigger raids of specific types, like the Ridley amiibo could trigger a dragon type raid with a dragon type pokemon taken from a pool of possible ones.

Great video! A small part of me wishes that there were at least 2 or 3 amiibos released during the xy oras era that would unlock some complelty optional minigames, but I can understand the hesitancy to trust nintendo/pokemon to handle that properly, especially given their recent track record of downright diabolical financial models. The whole problem of late release DLC and being charged for it is clearly motivated by greed, and its become painfully obvious that the people making these decisions arent the same friendly faces that brought us those precious memories years ago. With the current greed-motivated head honchos sitting pretty, amiibo "support" might be more likely than we think. Cant wait to see more from you!

I wish there was a version of the Eon Ticket for ORAS that was an Amiibo card. That way there was a way to start the Eon Ticket that was more accessible then either having it already or hoping you Streetpass with someone who does have it. Honestly would've been the best of both worlds for Amiibo in Pokemon
