I would Love to see this musical . I had the pleasure to see Tina back in the late 70's ! She was still with Ike, and they were performing in a concert in Oakland, Calif. It was a night I'll never forget !! They ( Ike, Tina, and The Ike ettes ) had been on stage doing a hell of a show, then all hell broke loose !! Something happened with one of the band members and someone on the stage , and a huge fight broke out !! Instruments were flying , the girls were screaming, and Miss Tina got on the mic, and closed the show, because it escalated into] quite a melee !! Almost a riot !! There was pandemonium, and the electricity was felt by all !! We got out unscathed, but it was Scarry !! Tina said that She would Never come to OAKLAND again !! We never really heard why it happened, but someone said that some guy off to the left of the stage, ( back stage) grabbed one of the Ikettes, and it was On !! This was so long ago, but I still remember it vividly !! I'm 68, going on 69, and this was some of my life !! What a life !!! Luv Ya !! And Love The one and Only !! Ms. TINA TURNER !!!

As a little girl Ike would come to a family’s friends house... I didn’t know the story of Tine Turner as I was too young to watch the movie but I knew by energy to stay away from him.
