I wouldn't have believed it until I watched how my wife was treated when she became visibly pregnant in our historically gay neighborhood of West Hollywood. There has always been misogyny past off as sassy gay men being catty but once pregnant it got clearly nasty. Obviously not from all but it was shocking to see how frequently the insults happened, just for walking too slowly or for daydreaming in a checkout line, specifically from transwomen.

To define a thing, the definition must exclude other things. The definition of a Woman is "an adult female person"; this EXCLUDES girls, cats, trucks, plants, houses, etc., and of course, MEN. Would it make sense if I said the definition of transgender includes "cis" people who don't believe in trans ideology? Can a trans woman also be a trans man? Of course not. Definitions MATTER, especially in law & policy. This is why women will NEVER stop fighting to keep the legal definition of who we are and that definition will always exclude men.
