I can totally understand the relationship with the bike. I have a similar story with RE. My dad owned a bullet in his college days. He sold it for a bike with better mileage because he couldn’t afford the fuel. The prices had just increased from Rs 4 / litre to Rs 6 / litre. He always wanted me to get a bullet but I never liked it. I hired one for 6 days for one of my first videos and hated the analogue experience of it. I mean, a bike without a fuel indicator? What sort of a bike is that? I booked a classic 350 a month back and I am waiting for it. Considered every other bike including Continental GT. (I think that is the one you might go for) but booked this one. Because this is not a bike. It is a bullet.

My dad always used to dream of having a Royal Enfield , not just any Royal Enfield , the Classic or Electra . Having rode an Electra from one friend and a Classic from another , he wanted to own one . He would also remark every Bullet he saw on the road and always passed a nice comment to the bike or to the rider! Then , after I grew up , I saw why he was so obsessed with it . I rode one for the first time , even though it was my first bike , I really loved the bike . After driving it for the first time , the friend who had the Electra decided to sell it to my father for a meagre sum (I can’t recall what it was , but it was SUPER low than the asking price for a mint condition 2016 Electra 350 TwinSpark) . My father’s dream came true of owning a Royal Enfield , but after a month of owning the bike , the friend who sold the bike died due to Cancer . Nobody knew , not even himself , that he had Cancer and died in the Hospital Bed , or atleast that’s what we were told . After his son came back from Abroad , it was later revealed that it was his own wish to sell the bike to my father and that’s why he sold it at such a low price . My father has been riding this bike from the day his friend died in his honor . But the bike is starting to disintegrate now (I think I lack a better word that “disintegrate”) , because the clutch line broke while driving in the middle of nowhere , the fuel gauge stopped working and the “Self start” button stopped working (my father says that it is better to kick-start the bike rather than self start because that’s where the Royal comes from) and refused to repair that . I cannot start that bike with my own power because it kicks back whenever I try to start it

A simple middle class guy. I’m not here to say my story for show off but this video just made me realise that days do change❤️ My mom was the only earning hand and she was my dad as well. I didn’t have any chance to ride any vehicle. Neither a cycle nor a bike. I used to stare my friend’s bicycle. The stare was somehow grown from bicycle to bike. Didn’t have courage to ask her to get me one, as she was working very hard. Glad, my mother raised me so well that after 22 years of my birth, I own myself a Jupiter. Self earned but the feeling of riding own vehicle is just astonishing.☺️ Anurag’s video just pulled my dreams once again. I’m gonna buy a RE someday for sure.❤️ & love you mummma.❤️❤️

There's nothing sad in this video yet this made me cry, I dont why i cried but i did. I was a highly academic focused kid and always dreamt of a successful career which knew no limit but life had other plans, I have had a rough childhood and ever since my teenage years I was stuck with cancer, just like every middle class family in tough times , all of the attention, time and money went to me, I could see my Dad and mom struggling, arguing and lord knows so much they were bearing including my little sister who acted as my Big sister at that time. My academics were ruined and so was my mental peace and ofcourse physical health. Fast forward to 5 years later, I managed to somehow complete my studies and got a decent government college for my graduation. Sometimes I wonder What my life would be like if everything was normal, maybe a better college , a better life, better grades, but there was something that couldn't have been any better and that was my Mom's and Dad's love for me, its what kept me going all this time, Iam so grateful for them. Anyways, Dad always used to tell me how the first bike he rode was a Bullet but he couldn't own one ever and he always said when you start college I'll get you one. Although its been two years since i got into college but couldn't attend a single on campus class due to my treatment and covid , I got over with treatment last month and I am hoping to join physical classes from next month, and Yesterday Dad took me to a Royal Enfield showroom and He & I, both were stuck with its beauty and elegance, I could see his eyes, how brighten up they were. We all are still struggling with medical expenses and covid and everything and to be honest, I cant ask my dad to buy the Enfield because of more important things, but that single moment of that showroom visit made me realise How he always wanted to own that bike and now he wants me to have it along with his dream. Even if we cant have the bike right now, I hope one day I'll be able to gift him his Enfield from my own earnings and make him happy.

You've grown a lot in terms of the quality of your content and I find that every time I watch your videos, I'm able to unwind better and learn more about what the riding experience actually is. This video of yours especially struck a chord within me as Royal Enfields have been a part of my family for two solid generations. When I asked my grandfather about his 70s bullet 500, he used the same word as you and so many other people in this country do- 'dream'. It's that dream that made my father purchase a thunderbird and the same dream that makes me all fuzzy when thinking about owning a continental some day. I'd like to say congratulations and thank you for your videos, I really do love watching each and every one of them. Ride safe and don't ever change.

My Dad worked in Indian Airforce and he had dream of buying a car, but he could not, due to financial burdens we had , my education and sister education , constructing house etc etc. When I got job I decided that I will buy car for my dad first, I any way love riding bikes so I bought Ford EcoSport's deiseal version for my dad, He loves deiseal vehicles. He takes it out only for long drives and the first trip we had is to Shimoga Karnataka, Jog Falls from Hyderabad.. It was fun, even went to Vizag, and apart from that my parents had trips to their childhood friends villages, and many other long drives. He love's it and he keep's it clean and the engine still feels like new even after 5 years. I feel happy to see him living his dream., they deserve it. Their life was not as easy as ours, they had to struggle allot in life to make us what we are today.

I have owned the RE Classic 350 for over 8 years now and it is one of my very prized possession. Grew up watching my nana ride this beauty and when it was time to buy a bike for myself; emotions and nostalgia got the better of the known cons of the bike especially when there are so many advanced machines available from so many manufacturers. Fast forward to today, I have ridden and owned a few other bikes but man nothing comes close to the feeling of riding this beauty down the highway and just enjoying the feeling and soaking it all in! almost 50,000 kms later I still feel another upgrade will come and go but as far as I can the classic will always be standing in my parking, ready to take me to work, breakfast rides and help me chase sunsets while I cruise down the highways at that 60 kmph sweet spot! Loved this video btw wonderful story telling :)

You are absolutely right.. Royal enfields may not make the perfect bike in it's segment.. it might have vibrations, battery issues, backfires from faulty engines.. BUT when it comes home from the dealership, it's like a story has started.. My father had a Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 he bought it in 2014. I always complained my Dad about how he bought a sh*t machine instead of better bikes in same budget, but the day I rode it myself, in the chilly nights of Delhi in the month of December and taking it to curvy roads of Uttarakhand.. Soon I realized its just not about the features or engine performance, its about the heavy stable royal feel it gives when you ride it down the highway.. its been 10 years, I can easily afford bikes like harleys.. but my heart is embedded in the metal of that one bike, and i promise I'll never let it go.. Royal Enfield❤❤

I could relate to this on so many levels! Our stories with Classic 350 are very alike, except for the fact that I inherited mine from my father after he passed away unexpectedly at 53 years of age. From admiration, to living with it and dealing with the pros and cons, to customising it, I feel the bike has started to make me fall in love with it in new ways. I dream to upgrade to the bike of my dreams someday in the future too. I completely understand your feeling, and I loved watching you share this journey. Much love brother, ride safe!

You are so truthful and it shows that this bike means a lot to you. My dream is a royal Enfield classic here in America. I've owned over three bikes, but this bike is what got me riding again after 20 years, just the dream of someday owning it and enjoying it. I'm blessed to be riding again, but my dream is to get my royal Enfield and to experience the bike in every way I can while I'm alive and able. I almost got a meteor 350 during the covid lockdown but it took 8 months to get it due to shortages and I cancelled the order, and it showed up two weeks later. I bought another bike and still wish I hadn't. lol.

Even though, I've never rode a bike in my life, still this video so much relatable, it's not only with bikes, the feeling you've conveyed through this video is relatable to many by the dreams they have, the feeling of finally achieving the dream and events getting used to and feel like moving on, and then feeling like to move on, eventually ending up sweet sweet memories, it's like the cycle of life, to chase your dreams and make them come true and growing on them and making memories. TLDR: really spiritually relatable video. Thank you for making my day.

Damnit....i had goosebumps and teary eyes that's how much good of an interpretation it was. I've been riding classic new gen for above 8 months now my friends are a critic for it and this video made me realise what i feel for my bike. Bikes/cars are prolly the only materialistic lust humans can connect to and the memories are usually worth every penny you spend

This was probably the best video I've watched on this channel and in regards to motovlogs in general. The way Anurag has captivated his audience with his videos is something to be admired. I'm proud to say I discovered his videos early on through the KZbin algorithm in the quest of searching the perfect bike for myself. This guy is the underdog who worked hard on his way to the top. Much love you to Anurag! #ButterscotchGang.

Me and my Dad bought a Classic 350 when I was 18 years old. It was the first thing I was completely responsible for. The way you have described the feeling of having a RE and sharing it with your father resonates so perfectly with me. Unfortunately, Even I recently had my breakup with my bike because I moved overseas and my father could not commit to her as she needed. I really hope that I will own a new RE here in this new country soon, and hopefully own it for the rest of my life and pass on a this feeling to my kids like I got it from my father. Loads to luck to you buddy.

I know about the dream. Think it’s many people dream. I myself when I was child wanted to go royal on an RE. Soon many we’re getting RE when I started growing up. I go out on street and see RE which became common. I thought to myself that if this is a royal when all around me also owns it (me being selfish). Who would’ve thought I’d still get one. Then last month I got my Royal Enfield (Meteor 350) and the first one to ride it is my father as he is KING of my life and he should travel on a Royal vehicle. It means, I’ve gifted it to him and I became his bike’s driver. He doesn’t want to ride it as daily driver and sometimes fear the weight.. but when he boards it to ride, it’s completely a different plane. My story just began. Looking forward to what it gives me.

Superb! If you can, keep it! If not, sold it! A bike that rewards you like that, leaves a profund mark and will never be forgotten, and in the end, what it matters, is to create memories.. nothing is more precious than that in life. You already are fortunate to own one, and to truly understand what a Classic can do. I'm about to start that journey, I need to heal, I need calm and peaceful times, I need to smile while I'm riding. I don't need power and bikes that are ridden with a joystick and proximity sensors. I need a Classic 350 Reborn, and I'm going to buy one soon. Riding all sort of bikes for more than 30 years, I never felt so inspired and grateful to own a Royal Enfield. And it's never too late. What's important is to start. And keep moving. And to keep coming to your channel and find jewels like this video. Your writing is brilliant and inspiring. Video quality follows along. Thank you for that. Respect! 👌👏🤝

One can't romanticize riding/driving vehicles enough bro! It is a feeling like no other for us guys who have had car/bike shaped eyes since we were 3-4yrs old. No matter what happens in my life, no matter how down I maybe feeling, even to the point of not even wanting to drive, once I get behind the wheel everything just shuts off. It's just me and my car and the road. The focus that comes naturally where you put everything else in some corner of your mind, close the door on it and just drive. Every problem, every doubt just evaporates and I feel like a king, with not a worry in the world :'). If someone would ask me to describe euphoria, this is what I would tell them. Car/bike guys are a different breed. It's a world like no other. ❤️ Great video man! Really connected with your story. ❤️
