Hey. I’m checking out your site. I’m relatively new to RC fun. First stab was a Redcat Ridgerock which I couldn’t stop modifying, then when Marlin passed recently I had to snag the RC4WD Marlin truck. I wheeled full scale crawling with him. So it's kind of a sentimental thing. But I can't keep from modding. On his 1/10th scale truck, I’m running lipo and spring mods and shackle reversal, but looking to up my game with your products. I’ve seen YT vids on your 4+ reversal and want to burn more cash on the hobby. Also like the flush skid plate. And where can I find longer front shaft to 0:58 compensate for the +4?

Can you run a full interior with this setup? Guessing not but wanted to know for sure.
@BMelchner Жыл бұрын
The Transfercase mount sits on top of the battery tray and it’s only a 1/16” metal plate. So no issue with interior. Batteries, services and wires are all higher.

On the truck you were working on, what rear shock mount is that?

Would the gcm racing LRT2 transmisdion work with this skidplate? Your out of stock on the website, any idea when you will have this item back in stock?
@oscarbaezsoria1650 Жыл бұрын
Looking at your video since I ordered this skid and I see you have the battery tray reversed? Battery mounts close to the transmission? In a stock TF2 the battery goes the other way.
@BMelchner Жыл бұрын
Yes. You can spin the tray around to get the battery weight more forward. The Transfercase mount is made to work with the tray in any configuration.

@@BMelchner Would you recommend to flip the tray forward or leave it stock? This is trail truck with the ocassional crawling if needed. Not a competition focused rig.

After owning my tf2 for months now I finally realize how important this skid really is. The stock tf2 skid is a damn shovel. Are these currently in stock?

Hey brotha just picked up this setup and installed in my tf2. I’m running the OD flip and noticed when testing my rear starts to squat when moving forward. Is this normal?
@BMelchner2 жыл бұрын
Not sure. But I doubt it’s due to the Transfercase mount. Shoot me a txt or message on the A&M Garage Facebook. We can troubleshoot faster there.

Would the RC4WD over/under transfer case be good to add to adjust various overdrive configurations?
@BMelchner3 жыл бұрын
No. That transfercase is too big for this setup. If you have 10-2 axles you can overdrive or under drive them with gearing if you want.

How does this work with a 2 speed transmission my front driveshaft is rubbing the transmission im running k44 axles
@BMelchner3 жыл бұрын
Every setup is different. I would look at what driveshafts you’re using and the way they are installed. We use the Supershafty shafts with the smaller male end passing the transmission for clearance. Also, it may hit on full flat compression which is rare. Left or right compression it shouldn’t hit. But again, that all depends on your setup.

Thank you sir will give that a go see how I make out great vids keep up the good work
