This is probably the best cover of Guile's theme I've ever heard - you acknowledge that the original theme is perfect yet you supercharge it without changing it. So much better than the two themes in SFV.

thanx mate. As usually I went nuts mixing it and couldn't hear shit in the end and just gave up. I do enjoy listening it even after hearing it for about 2000 times in like 2 month period lol. I love how the arrangement came together and the Eye of The Tiger style mute cleans came out really well I think XD

I know what you're talking about. When you spend a lot of time on a single song it becomes hard to listen it objectively. It's sometimes helpful to take a short break and if possible have other people listen to it and give feedback. But this ofc turned out great :) Unfortunately, I'm on a holiday so I can't use my main equipment to listen atm, but I'll be sure to do so when I get back home :)

drop me a comment anytime :D I listen my stuff in a control Room that has a pair of Dyn Audios and Adam A7x but the control room is a bit small and I have low end problem [common thing in small control rooms]. Then I have one hi fi stereo in the next room for checking the mix right away. Then I will listen to it in my place on the Yamaha MP5s which is more of a feedback about all over glue factor than anything else. Sometimes I will go to my dad's place and listen on his home cinema thing which has a woofer. I also listen on my phone and in my car. This particular track I hadn't even checked in my car lol. It depends. Sometimes I feel like listening track on too many sources can also confuse you. The main thing is to listen to as much music as possible for as long as possible on a particular system - process all the flaws of the room and listening experience and try to take that into account when you're listening to your mix on that system. It's basically going insane and then deciding - ok, that's enough, I'm going to go insane over another track now ^^

I believe you! :D I listened to probably all the Guile themes that were released [that's like almost like 2 hours of music or something] several times. Then I picked one out that I loved the most and I didn't even know. It's the track you're talking about I would assume :D Also I didn't know that much about the Alpha 3 series and I wanted to include footage from that game also + I have to say for some odd reason I really like the Apha 3 soundtrack and it's got like nothing to do with original themes, but I really like the Guile theme of Alpha 3....

I'm going to listen to it right now. For some reason I really like the Alpha soundtrack. I love Alpha 3's soundtrack too just because it is so unique. I feel it also has M. Bison/Vega's best theme in "Brave or Grave." Guile's theme in Alpha 3 is also unofficially known as "Plight."

Really badass works! Ever since I played it back in a days of arcades, Guile always had a Top gun feel to his stage. And I also love how you added the Street Fighter animated movie bits with him. I'm still waiting on Discoteks publishing of the SF2 Animated movie where it's the uncut Japanese version. And I mean the true uncut Japanese version where Dee Jay cuses and they show Chin Lee's tits in the shower and Cammy killing people and them bleeding out👍👍😎🙂!!

XD My original intent was to only do Street Fighter intro, Ken theme and Chun Li theme [I had Chun Li theme partially already done before this project even started... then I added "character select", then I thought to myself "I can't possibly do Street Fighter Remixes without having Ryu theme coming up right after intro.....and then I'm like "well if I'm gonna remix all these I can't leave Guile out" and so on.... lol .... I plan to do Fei Long, Cammy and maybe Zangief theme remixes in the future. And I hope that's all because these things are so exausting XD like time and energy....but it's also amazing fun....
