The shape of doorways seems to be the only thing LOTR about it. I'd rather be delighted to live in a cozy and compact Hobbit hole like home or a nature inspired Elven hall like Rivendell.

actually, the house itself reminds a lot of Rivendell... It even has a river running through it. So I'd say the shape of doorways isn't de only thing LoTR about it.

@@guiT39 i have to disagree. The amounts of black and hard lines make it very un-elvish. Its nice inside of course! Outside is awesome, great views. Kitchen is damn pretty. House needs more white, pastel blue/greens, curly lines like deer horns, a little more natural stones inside. Reminds me a bit of a school I saw as a kid haha

Not Hobbity enough. Though I suppose the black library is suitable for the storage of Orcish literature. Seriously, what is it with black-wood libraries, architects? I see wood with a black finish, and I think 'Hm. Too cheap to buy the good stuff, were you?' Same with white, but at least a white-finished library doesn't soak up all the light you need to read your books by.
