This song and album was a tribute to their previous singer, Bon Scott who died of alcohol poisoning, months before this album came out. In 2003, the band were inducted to The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Hi Lee and Brook, This was released in 1980, 4 months after the passing of original lead singer Bon Scott, AC/DC formed in Sydney, Australia, in 1973, this is Brian Johnson on vocals, he took over from late singer Bon Scott, 42 years later Brian is still rockin with AC /DC today in 2022 at the grand old age of 75, the lead guitarist in the schoolboy outfit is Angus Young, also still with the band, he's now 67 years old 😀 😀 🤘 🤘 🎸 🎸 🎸

It never fails to amaze me that this band was able to find two singers who had such amazingly singular voices, but who sounded almost exactly alike. They both sound like three cats in a fight, but in a wonderfully good way.

Hey Lae and Brook, I’m a 63 year old Australian guy who has seen Bon Scott in his element with AC/DC in the late 1970’s and then suddenly Bon died and the band was in two minds about continuing. Bon’s parents urged the band to continue with a new singer and they remembered that Bon had mentioned he liked this singer called Brian Johnson, who was singing in a band called “Geordie”. The band asked Brian to come to an audition, but they didn’t tell him who they were. He arrived late, then sang and the rest is history. 🇦🇺

You guys are rockin it, check out these guys live in Paris. This song came after their first singer who died sleeping in a car, the great Bon Scott. Listen to some 50's Rock n Roll like Bo Diddley, people like him invented it!!

U need to ware headphones. AC/DC Back in Black you're playing right now that album is the biggest selling album in the history of rock and roll and it's the second biggest selling album in the history of human music. The only album that's ever sold more than ACDC Back in Black is Michael Jackson's thriller album besides that this album has sold more than any other band in the other group on the planet that's how great ACDC is
