Thank you John. My husband was three months in Wythenshawe Hospital last year with sepsis. Rest is almost impossible because they are coming at you from every direction and he was so scared and mentally exhausted. Twelve months on and he is doing fine, recovery is slow and cannot be rushed. My heart goes out to you both.

As full time van dwellers ourselves a lot older than you, I ended up in hospital in Scotland in 2021 they saved my life I had sepsis plus major life changing surgery...... Here we are in 2024 & still we live in a van & travel in UK I still need more surgery but live each day to the full...... Get well soon the body is an amazing machine 🙏🙏😻😻

Oh my days, poor Mandy 😢 If it's any help after a botched surgery, which caused me to need emergency reconstruction surgery on my liver and caused sepsis... I recovered and have only felt better. It did take a good while, it was restrictive but it does give you a drive to live your best life. Speedy and full recovery Mandy, much love💕

Oh gosh,poor Mandy - I have a fair idea what she’s going through, I’m slowly recovering from five weeks in hospital and two surgeries and my healing was very slow until I started taking zinc supplements and from that I could literally SEE the healing on my bruising starting to disappear rapidly…….so zinc is my advice for Mandy ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thanks for the update John. Good to hear Mandy is on the improve, even if only slightly at this stage. I think Mandy has had the same op as a friend had a few years ago, though hers was for a giant Fibroid, not an infection etc. She found that an adjustable PostPartum belt helped a lot, particularly when she became semi-mobile and definitely when she went home from hospital. Look after yourself.
