The amount of electricity that it would take to move around that many nanobots, that fast, would cause electrical arcs everywhere. What we are looking at, is molecular restructuring at what are hugely significant differences for structures of that size. Electromagnetic fields are massively powerful, but their strength is very localized. A 1000lb electromagnet is huge, and has to get fairly close to metal to effect it. The amount of energy required to pull his body back together from being a cloud of explosive dispersed particles? Because it's not just moving the particles, it's overcoming the outward bound force of the explosion as well. He's walking around with a decent sized nuclear core for a power source. There would be huge arcs of electricity everywhere around him with field strengths that high. He'd be giving off so much heat, that concrete would begin to burn and metal would slag.
@MRcool-qt9rk Жыл бұрын
So that just means that currently it is impossible for us now, right?
@13shadowwolf Жыл бұрын
@@MRcool-qt9rk when humans have the level of tech to do that, we'll be in Star Trek. To control those levels of power in the atmosphere means that there's nothing physical guiding the arcs of excess energy. Electricity has the nature to flow along the lines of least resistance. So, uncontained like that would light everything on fire around him as small bolts of lightning connected with anything that was remotely conductive.

Do scientists just not build prototypes in movies? Like, they didn't even build a basic model of the nanobot that could JUST resurrect him. They went straight for nanites that could heal him, make him stronger, faster, giving him hacking ability. Like there's no testing phase; just straight from building robots legs for one person to turning the next into an immortal god.

I enjoyed the movie, but the presentation of nanotechnology is99.9% unrealistic. Nanites are so small, although I think they will eventually be used to hunt down and destroy cancer cells, plaque in the heart, etc., they could not possibly work as fast as the nanites in Bloodshot or Iron Man or the Engineer in The Authority. Nanites are smaller than human cells. They would not work much faster than biological processes😢And nanotechnology will never be able to reassemble an exploded body. That’s “comic book tech.”

@Milleniummeister Жыл бұрын
@@Cat-jh8kh Common sense
@mahadevparmekar2565 Жыл бұрын
It's simply impossible... Nanobot technology may one day help us give enhanced strength and senses, but self-healing and indestructibility are impossible.. It would take incredible amount of energy for nanites to reassemble on their own.. Our body is already incredibly efficient at healing. But even this efficiency takes weeks for normal wounds to heal. And months for organogenesis (in-utero).. It's possible to replicate it with robots.. but the energy needed to even achieve 1% of our abilities is thousands of times higher.. Specially designed nanobots may be used to treat diseases like cancer in future. But they will need a lot of energy and specialised facilities to operate them for few minutes that they need to do the job. The idea that human being, or even a robot, will just walk out with nanobots and become supernaturally powerful is a pipe-dream.. For contex - The most powerful supercomputer in the world can 20% as fast as human brain. But it takes about 1 Megawatt of energy to run. (Excluding the air conditioning and other facilities which require even more energy).. Human brain runs on ~500 kcal per day.. Thats about the energy in 100 ml of petrol (gasoline).. or the equivalent of a 20 W light bulb..
