@@guantofroglol6511 this reminds me of a minecraft book series I used to read when I was like 12 and the author claimed to be the "parent of a minecraft fan" or something like that, but after reading the books it was obvious they knew pretty much nothing about the game. I'm guessing they were pretty much like "I watched my kid play minecraft once, so I'm pretty much an expert on it." In the first book Steve's house is under attack by zombies and he wants to get like 50 diamonds to make _a single diamond sword_ even though zombies are one of the easiest hostile mobs to kill and could have been taken out by a weak-ass wooden sword. There was so much other dumb stuff that I could probably write a short book that's just a list of everything dumb about the whole series

rewatching this playthrough for nostalgia sake and it only just dawned on me that Petra gives Lukas a nether star, something you only get by summoning and killing a wither. Yet they all freak out at the idea of Ivor spawning in one or Petra getting a single nether skull from the nether

also rewatching for nostalgia, and i can easily explain away all of these concerns. The shock is at the idea of peddling something so dangerous (wither skull), and the presence of a wither in a crowded area with no warning (griefing in a world where respawning has yet to be established as a known factor for the characters). The fact petra has a skull and is trying to sell it means she knows its value (to some extent. diamonds fluctuate in value depending on server size and activity), and having sold a star for the beacon means she knows the horror of a wither fight first hand. In all cases, it is likely known by all in the world who know of withers that you fight them away from civilization, and that is before talking about cheese strats. This particular wither is such a threat because of the substitution of a command block for soul sand. Do any of these clarifications mean the story is good? nah, but it is a fun way to waste some time, be it to pick apart everything or just to turn your brain off.

(episode 6 stated that tipped arrrows were new, they were added in 1.9) Wither roses added in 1.15 or 1.16 i think? anyway it was way past 1.9. Also, petra values the wither skull, enough that she thinks getting it back would be a fine alternative to the diamond (it's said in the dialogue, "I'm either getting that diamond or im getting my skull back), So if she had a wither skull farm, why would she care about getting it back?

My favorite thing about the 2 games is playing "I spy" with my friends seeing inconsistencies in the game, some examples are Jessie's assistant (I forget his name) in the second game says Xara's name before they are supposed to know it, and in the "best ending" in the final sequence a Titan breaks the bridge, yet in the next scene Jessie's assistant casually walks on the bridge.
