Nakwha is the Korea's traditional art which create drawings or patterns using heated iron to burn the surface of paper, textile, wood, or leather. He is a craftsman who has been sucessing the tradition of Nakwha with 400 years of history sine the Joseon Dynasty. He is the National Intangible Cultural Property No.136 Nakwhajang. As the hot iron heated by charcoal passes by, the art of fire is depicted through burning. In particular, in 2018, a collaboration with world-renowned brand Starbucks spread the beauty of Nakwha around the world.
