I love how Floch was the sole survivor of the suicide march and the only one who listened to Erwin's speach, I think this is what made him what he became and also, in the episode: " THE WAR HAMMER TITAN" he had the moves

i dont get the appeal for floch. i found him super cringy and a sadistic asshole. and dont say he was the only one who heard Erwin's speech cause that is a flat out lie. levi was standing next to Erwin as he gave the speech

In the end of the story Paradis gets destroyed by the Humans the rumbling failed to wipe out. Floch fought so that the people of Paradis would be able to live in a world were the rest of the entire world didn't hate them. Floch loved his people and remembered the literal CENTURIES of oppression the rest of the world put Paradis and the rest of the Eldians through. He was a leader who wasn't afraid to get shit done and to get his hands dirty in the process.

Saying “he was the only one who heard Erwins speech” means that he was the only one actually adhering to what was said, sacrificing himself for eldia and not for the rest of the world like levi and the alliance did. Jeagerists all the way.

He was just doing and protecting what he was taught to, he was also the only one who did the most realistic and logical action by not only protecting and fighting for his people but also showing loyalty and devotion to his nation. Unlike all the others, he was the only one who stood on business and actually stayed loyal to paradis island and all the eldians. Of course if you yourself dont have any kind of patriotic/nationalistic feelings or a sense of loyalty and proudness towards your nation you wont be able to understand.

for everyone saying he loved his people. no he didnt. he helped turn the scouts into titans to try and kill levi. when levi survived he also tried to kill him. he helped spike the wine with spinal fluid to threaten the military to surrender to him. he forced the eldian military to fight or die, and they turned into titans anyway like MY MAN PIXIS into a titan and pretty much the entire military. endangering HIS OWN PEOPLE. then when the rumbling started he started executing all the people who were worried about their families outside the wall. the way i see it floch just loved killing people and being a dick. its like hes what marley does to eldians. turn them into titans to force them to fight their battles.

@@dinodood9066 he wasnt a very good leader to begin with. his plan was to drug the military with the spinal fluid to force them into fighting a battle where there were civilians or else they will turn into titans. they turned into titans and started eating people. when he tried to stop the alliance from saving the world he had NO PLAN. just telling his goons to charge. he didnt lose to plot armor he lost due to his poor leadership and planning.
