I used to comment this on every video asking him to fish for flatheads at night.. for over 6 months I asked probably. 🧐.. I think a lot of it has to do with cinematography is really tough at night.. would still love to see him try!! I love fishing at night here in IL

@georgejessop98602 жыл бұрын
Hi Nick; As I was watching you battle that large catfish, I was thinking if you were going to have a chance at landing that other monster, you would "need a bigger boat" er, rod and reel. I didn't know at that minute what else you might have carried in with you. My thoughts went to my jetty rod, a 9' medium/heavy K-Mart graphite rod bought over thirty years ago and coupled with my Mitchell 307 for salt water bluefish and stripers. That rod would bring the big boy to the rocks. Still, I really enjoyed watching you hook him. And, you must bring a sieve basket to keep your bait live and secure beyond your net. There may be other monsters in hiding there in that spillway. Stay safe and careful on the rocks.

So many different species over there compared to here maybe one day I'll get to visit and sample your awesome fishing. Have you tried Mackerel as bait? The amount of oily scent coming off might drive them wild. They are used over here as the go to bait for pike and other aggressive fish. Keep the videos coming. Tight lines from Scotland

Must have been a warmer day. That is a beautiful spillway and in the winter months on days it warms up is when fish become really active. Why don't you do a tutorial on how to fillet up silver and bighead carp and show a few recipes. When it gets too cold to fish or to nasty this winter it would be nice to see you do some carp recipes... I remember a couple years back you did a single quick video of eating silver carp. Would be nice to see what you have come up with since. I'm fishing voyerously through you right now. Last 2 months I've been in the process of moving in the cold and ended up staying in the hospital for a week with pneumonia. But I'm finally getting moving done and there is enough hard water to fish on up here in Central Wisconsin. Soon as I dig out my shanty that is 🤣
