I've been struggling with depression & anxiety since I was 6 & I was also diagnosed with PTSD this year. Everyone always tells me "why don't you just forgive them & move on?" What they don't know is I have forgiven them. I forgave them years ago, but I will never move on. They may have pushed, punched & called me horrible things, but that shaped who I am today. As if sticks and stones can compare to the things they called us. We were bullied and teased. Our thought to be masterpieces and achievements were turned into dust and disappointment after just one scoff from someone. Doesn’t matter who it was, It would still hurt. Words are funny, Arrange then right and they can save a life. Arrange them wrong and you can kill someone. From those occasional rude remarks or snarky comments some of us grew anxiety. From every laugh we heard we suspected it was at us. We thought whatever joke we told the snickers were AT us instead of WITH. We cried tears wondering if our best friends hated us. We all just wanted to be loved, So why do we do this? Is being better in a social hierarchy something to brutalize others for? You may not see what you say at the moment but you could of hurt someone. Led them to death. Whoever you hurt may be claimed to have committed suicide but really the community killed him/her. We all weren’t loving enough. Not careful. We didn’t look to see and ask if they were hurt. I agree it can be hard to see if someone’s upset sometimes, But if you were really a good person they would tell you. So be a friend, Give compliments, Make then feel loved, Use words the right way. Also save some love for yourself ❤️

i used to play baseball and i was in the batting cages and i was doing good but i knew that i was a horrible hitter ever since 4th grade and the coach said “why cant you hit like that in a real game?” and that brought my confidence level to rock bottom. i played the rest of the season and then i quit and i havent played organized baseball in about a year

This is exactly why I never believed that saying. I've been verbally abused by bullies in my elementary years due to my autism, along with the fair share of being pushed around and even hit once... but the physical abuse was nothing compared to the verbal. And whenever I would report it to the teachers, they would always give that "Did they hit you? No? Then you're okay" BS. I was one of the lucky ones to recover, but it did still leaves an emotional scar to this day. However, I don't let it affect who I and today. As I've learned more about my own disorder, I realized it's more of a strength and a weakness. For example autistic people tend to be more creative, and can think differently than the general population. So I believe I had the last laugh, as you should never be ashamed of a scar, as it just shows that you were stronger than whatever tried to hurt you.

I got teased so much that a single laugh, a single word from a student got me aggravated. I've been so oversensitive that others think I'm playing the victim. I feel like doing something depressing whenever my closest friend is with his/her (not revealing gender for Internet Safety) other friends. I get upset so easily. I've become so irritable and sensitive because of teasing. I remember actually WANTING to be physically bullied once so people will actually notice and care. I meant it. Words hurt.

Have you tried subliminals for reprogramming? I have gotten great results from them in being able to let go, feel more confident, and just getting out of the constant cycle of anger and negative emotions I was in for so long. I'm still in the situation but I notice that I deal with it differently now within myself. Things don't bother me as much. Kelly Howell has a channel on here and if you begin with the release and let go (just listen to it over and over as often as you can with headphones/earphones) you might see a difference as well. Thomas hall and Hypnodaddy are good channels to find some as well. Give it days or a couple of weeks of consistent listening to allow it to begin working. Then follow up or add success or whichever one fits you best. I believe you'll notice a difference in the way you feel and handle yourself.

A bully thinks that they are superior because of their physical appearance or popularity, but then again, who really cares about that? Let's use a frosted cake as an example. This cake represents someone who gets bullied. Now, they are admired by everyone because of their appearance (frosting). But how did they become that way? In the process, they made mistakes (crumbs) and were made fun of for them, so they had to change their appearance (crumb coat). They went through the cold, but withstanded it. Then they added another layer (placeholder is maybe a new hairdo) and went to school. That may have not made sense, but oh well. People always judge by looks first before anything else. Admit it, y'all used to do so! I admit that I did that before, but I refuse to do it now.

The Hunters will run towards the gunfire and the hunted will flee. It's up to you to make that decision." Here I am. The most Patriotic kid in my family. Military bound.
