Every year in my birthday i write a letter to my future self and reopen it on the next birthday. I'm so excited for the person I'm becoming so it's my way to communicate with her and tell her that I look up to her and whatever she's going through it'll be alright. I'm so mesmerized by the way you stringed those thoughts in a very poetic way. Absolutely amazing!!!

That's a great video. Very thought provoking I've never tought of it from that angle before. I always think that me like 4 years ago was sooo happy and everything was going well, but at the time i don't think i was as happy as i remember. But i never tought that instead of chasing happiness in the future, maybe i should stop and think about how my future self would see me at this moment. My future self would probably see this moment as one of the best times in my life. This is when i met my girlfriend, started getting my life on track and found out i have ADHD which helps me manage my life better. All these great reasons to be happy and excited, yet i don't feel that because i don't stop to think about the present that way. I always imagine what great things i'll have in the future and how happy i'll be then, or how happy i was in the past. But how happy you are in the future, doesn't matter, because once you get there, it will be the present, and you'll never feel happy if you chace the future instead of embracing the here and now. There is nothing except the here and now. The present moment is where great things happen. The present moment is where you will find happiness. You just gotta stop and look at it, instead of looking behind or ahead. Observe what you have around you

when I was a child, my teacher told us to write letters for future selves. She took them all and locked to her locker. Unfortunately, she is not here anymore. But the letters were gone too. Who knows where she put them, but there is a possibility that I will find it sometime. Nothing is impossible. I can barely remember what I wrote, but I can say I was relatively going to the direction I was thinking. Does this mean I accomplished his dreams? Of course, he was a child. He was imagining things very differently. That's what I like abut him. I would LOVE to answer his questions about his future self, even though I know he will not get the answers at his present. But time is relative, and so is perception. This "letter to the future" thing really has to make it into all schools, it is something really heart whelming when it happens. And it is heart whelming when it doesn't happen too. Just, make children imagine about the future 20 years instead of the future exams next week. Nah, who am I kidding. Nobody is gonna read or take this comment seriously at all. But since I put my time into it, I don't want to erase it all. So there you go, I'm gonna publish it. Another letter to the future I guess. Oh wait... you read it? Well, thanks then!
