How can you have a vdw ability rating in a maiden race?

Thanks for the comment Neil. Some horses will have raced previously even though they're in a maiden race. For example, Grosmont had raced twice prior to this race as had Denton Dawn.

But to get a vdw ability rating a horse needs to have won a race??

Neil Clarke Sorry Neil, I thought I'd replied but I obviously didn't properly press the Reply button. The VDW Ability rating is based on earnings which means they don't need to have won a race, just have earned prize money to get a rating :)

he's not using the method correct,it can't be used on Maiden races. the method is for top class races only,not Maidens.
