Gordon Murray just built a new supercar to improve upon his F1. He needs to focus his genius upon a new version of the Rocket. Us ordinary folk would be able to afford this little beauty...

The kind of car you should drive like a motorbike rider: with waterproof gear and a helmet. Then it's all good.

That's what I was going to say. It's more a 4 wheel bike, so think 'going for a ride on a motorcycle' and dress appropriately. Don't think you need knee sliders though...

I had a Triumph Spitfire that had a very badly weathered rear window. So bad I'd only put the top up when it was parked. I kept a selection of coats, hats and gloves in the "boot" to adapt to different weather situations. The engine was so worn out I had to put a quart of oil in it before driving. I loved that car.

Why can't they increase the rigidity, a roll cage for stability and safety, also feature and a pain of glass, or even clear strong perspex? Might add 50-60kg BUT Driver - lose 5lbs Tyres - increase by 15-20mm respectively / Wheels - Get lightweight customs saving 3-5kg each side. Engine - Remap, Exhaust System.
