Watching you and Miranda together, and trips with other KZbinrs (Dan, Justin, Tayson, etc.), were highlights of the year. The interaction between everyone, the different environments, and the different styles and opinions you shared on camera, made those videos sing and informed the rest of the videos I watched with all of you.

When you take it down, you should cut a piece of the base and write the year on it, drill a hole and make it into a Christmas ornament.
@memathews2 сағат бұрын
Or make that piece a candle holder (use a wood auger to drill the hole wide enough for a candle).

Hurray for new traditions and fond memories!! Yeah we hung some pretty ridiculous stuff on the tree before we pulled it back and decided that the only backpacking gear we would allow would be a) shiny things, b) Rainer’s cup, and c) my Kula. It was a full on discussion among Christmas Professionals. Yay cozy vibes!!

You living in a town called "Leavenworth", when my military brain associates it with the prison, really makes the sentence "My mom got this ornament for me when she came to visit me in Leavenworth" make my brain do a quick double take before I remember.

Happy Holidays to your whole team. The tree is beautiful. I love Christmas, but the older I get, it does come with more EMOTIONS. Since moving to WA, we've started celebrating yule/solstice as well. We eat preserved foods, light candles, celebrate the return of the light, etc. It brings us lots of joy. Highly recommend. Thank you all!

Absolutely joyous and beautiful. There was a scary part though when you carried your tree back to the car and strapped it on backwards. As luck would have it, it appears that none of the beautiful branches snagged off. Very Merry Christmas to you all!

Merry Christmas to the five of you too! I like your Christmas special, it looks like you had a lot of fun. Living in the Pacific Northwest I grew up going out and getting a Christmas tree and decorating a less than perfect tree. To me, that's Christmas. Thank you for explaining why and how it is OK to go cut down a tree. Growing up just sort of knowing this, I forget not everyone knows or understands about going out into the woods and getting a tree. Your vids are always so fun.

Merry Christmas to you and Abby and Rainer and Tucker and your whole crew ! Thank you for being you. 😊❤️. P.S. some of my happiest memories are of my dad and my little sister and I walking our property every year and cutting it down and dragging it home. Thanks for reminding f me of that. ❤️

1. Thank you Miranda for explaining why it is a good thing to be cutting down the trees within the national forest. It is healthy for the forrest to have the smaller trees to help forrest fire prevention. You're helping prevent forrest fires and getting a tree out of it. Win/win. 2. Can we talk about how awesome Gingerbread Faculty in Levenworth is? The cookies are amazing.

You could make a garland for your tree that when the season is over you hang outside for the birds. Could be berries seeds slices of dried fruit
