I'm really speechless right now. I've seen Hugo in the Rake magazine for years and this has really...I don't know surprised me?! I was raised in the faith...and departed recently. I do applaud his brave testimony and it obviously is real to him. I think sometimes...even though my own father was a preacher...and good man..I was not given the gift of faith. I found this story fascinating.

One of my favourite if not my favourite videos,for many reasons. As I see the date of the video being the 12th of March 2018. 2 years later we are in the most foreseen, unprecedented and extraordinary time in human history. And then I come across this video (I thought I'd watched the all :); and it makes me think that the human race might, should come though this traumatic time with a reassessment of what is important and what is of value. I wonder who are the leaders that will make us aware that meaning in what we say, what we do and what we have, has greater value then just having. The great Oscar Wilde wrote of one of his characters - "A man who knows the price of everything, and the value of nothing." My aspiration is that we say to ourselves that we need to raise our standards in everything we do. I shall leave at that for now. Wishing you Hugo and Sonya continued well being. God bless.

Interestingly enough "You are God" or "I am God" is a very Buddhist way of thinking. This is defiantly not in the Western tradition (mostly). However, I completely agree with this view point. We should not strive to mimic Jesus, instead we should be Jesus.

I saw a first video from Sartorial Talks a few days ago. In one video Hugo was talking about who is a gentleman and at some point he mentioned the word 'eternal'. I thought he might have developed his own work philosophy (all great people do, at some point). It is both interesting and refreshing to see that his approach to what he does is informed by the ultimate. Indeed, I see this more and more - it seems like some sort of rebirth of Christianity is coming. But this time, it will not be said, it will be lived.

Hugo Jacomet ..... I stumbled across the Sartorial Talks, “What Is A Gentleman”, video and then proceeded to watch more. This particular video touched me so profoundly! I own a Men’s Boutique in NC, USA. It is very much just a ready to wear shop that caters to the demographic I am surrounded by. Because this demographic exists and dictates how and what type of goods I must carry to provide a successful living, I have accepted it for what it is. I have realized as of late, the only saving grace is that I too am “ready to wear” by putting on the suffering of our Savior! I thank Him daily for His ultimate sacrifice. I think my epiphany concerning Jesus came when I realized, through scripture, that He was born a man, but a man with two natures. One of humanity and one of divinity. The humanity suffered on the cross, the divinity did not and could not, for He was God. Thank You Hugo for reminding me of the healing and completing power of humility, the emptying of ones’ self so that Jesus might fill the void that is left. It makes me very happy to see a frenchman give his testimony. I lived in France for a year when i was going through a difficult time spiritually and it was a shock to me how secular and frankly anti-christian the french were when i would mention that i was looking for a church. Dear Mateo, you're right. In France when you say you're a Christian, you receive at best a nasty smile (meaning "what a poor guy who believes in such things) or at worse direct insults. Same for the Jews. France had become over the years a missionary field. The Catholic Church has failed and created a vacuum filled by extreme secularism (with an actual doctrine) and of course Islam. When I decided to do my Chirstian "coming out" I was ready to receive some personal attacks, but I did not care. I will never be ashamed of the Gospel and will do everything I can to share the good news of Christ. God bless you too my friend, Hugo

Hi Hugo, I have both your books now. I have not had a chance to finish the Italian one it yet but I like it as I learn with every page! I use a Study Bible and I learn something every time I read it. So far I am on my second time going through both old and new testaments.

Hugo, beautiful tears are streaming down my face from this video of your testimony of your personal journey of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ! I am deeply touched by your story of where you were before faith in Christ and where you are now after receiving Christ into your heart. I came to Georgia from Pennsylvania. I was also in a bad place in my life. However, on July 19, 1982, right here in Atlanta, I received the Lord Jesus into my life. Romans 10:9 I live in Metro Atlanta Georgia. I am familiar with Church of the Apostles. Michael Youssef is a wonderful man of God demonstrating extremely important ministry to the Southeastern US and the Middle East. Years ago, I personally had the pleasure of speaking with one if his daughters. Delightful! I recently started watching your KZbin videos and have been impressed with your passion and articulation of the bespoke world. Your lovely wife, Sonya carries an amazing presence! Watching and listening to her on your videos caused me to say in my heart, " there is something special about this woman". Now, I know it is the person of Jesus that makes her special. It's beautiful to see her love for you and the inspiration she has fostered in your life. I am honored to know you not just as a KZbinr, but more importantly as my brother in Jesus Christ.
