If you don't have the strips seen in the video to mark off the play area, grab yourself a roll of Easyliner Shelf matting. It's pretty easy to find and super inexpensive. You can then cut it to desired lengths to use on the HUGE map(s) to mark off the scenario battlefields. Works great for OST maps too! 👍👍

Thanks for the review and I'm glad that you mentioned the value of the Event Cards. In the smaller scenarios, they are indeed key components in the action. As you get into the larger scenarios, the Event Cards can allow a unit to make a one hex move at a key time. In testing though, the use of a card for its default event means that artillery can fire offensively any time and that really can make a difference. Your other point about decision making is also spot on. You don't just grab Cards and start the turn. You need to arrange your Divisional cards, select your Key Event Cards and decide if you want to spend some of those Event Cards for additional artillery fire. Though the system has plenty of chaos built into it, you still have plenty of command decisions to make.

Just got the game and the maps are spectacular and huge when put together. Will get to the game as we are traveling out East and will stop in Gettysburg to partake in some of the historical stuff there. Thanks for doing the AAR and the game looks to be promising.

Thanks for filming this, I'm really interested in the system but not as much in ACW / period it represents. Hoping it will make it's way into other scales / eras as well...

Uh … sorry … uh … actually, I need to work on that … mostly due to the fact these are unscripted one takes … thanks for the constructive criticism … next time turn it into a drinking game, by 20th one, you will not even notice …

Whining about petty things like a kid is pretty obnoxious too...
